John R.W. Stott - who killed Christ?

The Jewish leaders, Roman authorities, and the sins of the world killed Christ.

Christ would die, crucified or not, by mankind’s hand, bearing the cross of our fallen nature.

Yeah we all are to blame. The people for voting to put him to death, the governors for signing off on it, and the soldiers for just following orders. But the beauty is we can all get to heaven through this sin. Sorry if it doesn't make much sense I'm a tad tipsy writing this.

@WokePreacherTV He laid down His life willingly, that is why He came. He died for me while I was yet a sinner because He loved me. No one had the power to put Him to death or save Him from it, He used sinners to accomplish His purpose. It was predetermined and ordained by God.

@WokePreacherTV This is true, in fact Stott talks about this in the book too. We are guilty but we also didn't kill him by overcoming his will, he chose to die most definitely.

We all did with our sins.
