Being a bit of a mongrel oneself (and that would be down to a certain invading enslaving sack or bagdad so to speak raping me nth-gg-granny in Baltimore (a sack moreover that should have been met with a pair of bullock squeezers and no anaesthetic but Thomas Davies said she stabbed him in his serai thereafter or one of her sisters did so there's some consolation) it's no big deal really (bar my exorbitant cardiology bills). There've been waves of invasions since Baal was a boy and they built Newgrange thousands of years before Abraham and Isaac. 3200 BC and if we're going on Archibishop Usher's timeline that's only about 1200 years since the Creation. Inconveniently for the good Archbish, and indeed Arlene Foster and her DUP colleagues, there's been evidence of human settlement here going back to round 10,500 BC (Late Paleolithic). But just as it isn't politic to observe that EVERYONE'S DNA has a rapist's unwanted contribution somewhere in there, just that few of us would like to admit it or think overly much about it. And I can almost guarantee that 100% of the people who voted for me, and at least 95% of all residents across Pickering and Durham, do not want higher taxes. People are already struggling. Seniors are trying to stay in the homes they worked their entire lives to pay off. Families are choosing between food and fuel. And when concerns were raised about seniors being pushed out of their homes by rising taxes, the Mayor’s response was for them to take out a reverse mortgage — to borrow against their homes just to survive government-imposed costs. That is not compassion. That is not fiscal responsibility. That is your government telling seniors to liquidate their dignity instead of changing priorities. Being elected does not give you a mandate to ignore hardship. It gives you a duty to protect the people — not push them further into debt. I will not support higher taxes while residents are already in survival mode.

And I find it just so interesting that you're not being critical of a sitting senator who represents the state of Kentucky, not being transparent with his constituents.
