vernon talking more about his parents! 🐻‍❄️ i don’t try to only share good news and hide bad news [from them], i just say whatever i want to say whether it’s good or bad. of course, i’m relatively more like a child than them but when i see my parents… they were just adults when i was a kid. but as i grow older, i see that my mom and dad are just people too. no one is a perfect grownup. so, i find our conversations more fun now. especially when i’m talking with my mom.

My mom and dad loved listening to music while driving, so they always played the top hits and Korean songs. And this is a bit of a TMI, but back in the day, you had to put a cassette tape or a CD into the car to play music. So, before my dad and mom even started dating, how do I explain this... they were in the car together and my mom brought her own CD or cassette. But when she was getting out, my dad didn’t give it back and just kept it. I heard that story when I went to Mokpo last time, apparently, that was my dad’s move to win my mom over, hehehe 💓
