I don’t know how many times we have to have this tariff conversation. Foreign governments do not pay the tariffs. Companies based in and operating in the United States pay the tariff to import.

Selectively omitting: the "other 'part' " which is ultimately PAID by Consumers/Users (not intermidiaries, not Companies, not FGs). A revenue source...for what? More pork in the barrel while "you" sink entitlements? Reps have gone from We The People, to We and "scrw" The People.

They just can't help lying. Tariffs end up being paid by importers who then pass those costs into consumers.

Jamieson Greer says, “I’m not speaking for the president.” “What I'm telling you is that when the president talks about foreign influences, at a minimum, what we see is that foreign companies are involved in the coalitions, the PR effort. They're involved in the cases, and they don't want these tariffs. It's not a secret,” he adds.

That’s why I’m a little allergic to this idea that we shouldn’t worry about our democracy because we need to talk about things that are a little more immediate. They go together. We should talk about all of them at once. The reason why you paid $1,000 more per household last year in tariffs is because we have a president who doesn’t think he’s accountable to the American people and didn’t think he had to follow the law. These things are connected.
