At 17 she dropped out of school to do plumbing professionally with her father, and now she's 23 and makes over $20,000 a month It all changed with one clip of her taking apart a clogged P-trap. No script, no face on camera, shot on a phone from her overall pocket. Hundreds of thousands of people watched it, people who will never in their lives crawl under their own sink. A week later there was a line of locals in her DMs. They didn't ask the price and didn't haggle, because they'd already seen how she works. Her hour costs $110, and people wait weeks for an open slot instead of calling the first plumber off Google. Then came the part she never planned for. Plumbing suppliers started sending her products to test. Free, just asking her to film how it holds up on the job. Young guys from trade colleges message her for advice more often than they ask their own foremen. People from other cities ask her to recommend someone in their area, and she just passes those leads to friends. Her phone became what expensive advertising is for everyone else, only without the budget. In the evening she doesn't edit anything. She drops the footage into AI, it pulls the best moments on its own, cuts them, adds captions and schedules the week. One hour a week of her time. At 17 they told her she'd ruined her life by dropping out. At 23 she proved to everyone that her life only got better Read the article to find out how to turn your job into a double income

New short course Multimodal RAG: Chat with Videos, developed with Intel and taught by vasudevlal! In this course, you’ll work with LLaVA (Large Language and Vision Assistant), a Large Vision Language Model (LVLM) that can process both images and text. For example, given an image of a person doing a handstand on a skateboard at the beach, LLaVA doesn't just caption the scene, it’s able to predict possible outcomes, like the person losing balance or falling off. By understanding not just what's in a video frame, but what might happen next, your application can provide more insightful answers to questions about video. You'll build a full multimodal RAG pipeline that can chat about video content: - Use the BridgeTower model to create joint text-image embeddings in a 512-dimensional multimodal semantic space. - Learn video processing techniques to extract keyframes, generate transcripts using Whisper, and create captions. - Use the LanceDB vector database to store and retrieve high-dimensional multimodal embeddings. - Integrate the LLaVA model, combining CLIP's (Contrastive Language Image Pretraining) vision transformer with Llama, for advanced visual-textual reasoning. Your final system will ingest video data, generate embeddings for frames and text, perform similarity searches for relevant content, and use the retrieved multimodal context to inform LVLM-based response generation. The result is a system capable of answering nuanced questions about video content, effectively chatting about the video it has processed. Please sign up here!

I found this video extremely moving in a world where there are very few black superstar role models who live their values with quiet dignity. This touched me deeply. This is Winston Rodney, one of the greatest reggae superstars to ever come out of Jamaica, known globally as Burning Spear, together with his wife, Sonia Rodney, who is living with Alzheimer’s and dementia. They have been married for decades, and Sonia Rodney has been central to his entire career, not only as a spouse but as his manager, business partner and the guardian of his legacy. For years, she handled his bookings, tours, productions and label matters, ensuring that Burning Spear remained independent and in full control of his artistic direction. Many reggae historians agree that without Sonia Rodney’s sharp management, Burning Spear would not have achieved his global stature, longevity and cultural impact. I decided to share this because, in a world where too many black superstars abandon the women who built with them, or discard their wives once fame arrives, Burning Spear stands as a powerful exception. I am not saying there is anything wrong with marrying outside your race, but it is important to talk honestly about patterns that exist, and why examples like this matter. Burning Spear, for me, is the consummate black superstar role model. He stood with his wife through thick and thin. At a time when he could have placed her in a home, continued touring and lived the chaotic lifestyle many reggae stars are known for, he chose loyalty, love and dignity. In a music world where you have artists like Elephant Man with forty children, Ninja Man with twenty three and Aston “Family Man” Barrett, Bob Marley’s bassist, with over fifty, Burning Spear chose a different path. He chose family, stability and honour. People like myself, who have large social media platforms, have a duty to amplify this kind of love and devotion. This man married his wife more than forty years ago and promised to walk with her through everything. And he has lived that promise. Maximum respect to Burning Spear. You are teaching us, as black men, to honour our wives in good times and in difficult times. Thank you, Elder, for showing us what real love, loyalty and manhood look like. 🙏🏿🙏🏿

🚨WATCH: Nursing assistant Ciara Corvan, who filmed and mocked dementia patients at the Bluestone Unit, has been sentenced 🎤Chief Reporter James reports from Craigavon Crown Court. A care worker who took degrading pictures of dementia patients and sent them on Snapchat has been handed a probation order and given 100 hours of community service. Ciara Corvan, 28, committed the offences while working as a healthcare assistant at a specialist ward for dementia patients at the Bluestone Unit at Craigavon Area Hospital. Passing sentence at Craigavon Crown Court today, Judge Patrick McGurgan said Corvan, from Cathedral View in Armagh, had failed to treat patients in her care with the respect and dignity to which they were entitled. Among the images Corvan sent to co-workers on Snapchat was a picture of a female patient in the bath; a video of her shaking a patient’s hand while music played in the background with a caption claiming she was having a “rave”; and a picture of her and a patient with their noses almost touching with the caption “why the f*** is she so close to me?”. Earlier this year Corvan plead guilty to a total of seven counts of ill treatment of patients under the Mental Health Order (NI) 1986. The offences, which covered the period from the autumn of 2022 to the summer of 2023, involved four dementia patients being cared for on the ward. All four have since died. Police said the case was the first prosecution of its kind in Northern Ireland. The judge warned Corvan, who now works for a grocery business, that if she breached the order she would be returned to court and would face the imposition of a custodial sentence. A barrister for the defendant told the court she had written a letter of apology to the families. More on-air and online.

Minnie Dlamini and boyfriend spark breakup rumors after deleting each other’s photos on Instagram Media personality Minnie Dlamini and her boyfriend, celebrity surgeon Dr Brian Monaisa, have sparked speculation about a possible breakup after eagle-eyed fans noticed that the pair have deleted each other’s photos from their Instagram accounts. The couple, who have been making headlines with their whirlwind romance, appeared to be going strong just a few months ago. In fact, at the beginning of this month, Minnie threw a surprise birthday party for Dr Monaisa, seemingly celebrating their love. However, their latest social media activity or lack thereof has left fans wondering if trouble is brewing in paradise. Minnie and Dr Monaisa had previously shared glimpses of their relationship, with cozy vacation snaps and affectionate captions. But in a surprising move, all traces of their relationship seem to have disappeared from their profiles. While neither of them has publicly addressed the situation, social media users have been quick to speculate that the couple may have called it quits. Adding to the intrigue, it was just last month that Dr Monaisa reportedly gifted Minnie a luxurious Porsche for Valentine’s Day. The extravagant gift had social media buzzing, with many praising the surgeon for spoiling his partner. Minnie even shared glimpses of the sleek new ride, expressing her excitement and gratitude. The fact that such a grand gesture was followed by the sudden deletion of their pictures has only fueled speculation that their relationship may have hit a rough patch. This move comes just months after Minnie went public with her new romance following her highly publicized divorce from former husband Quinton Jones. Many of her supporters had been rooting for her newfound happiness, making this social media cleanse all the more shocking.

Brothers, husbands, fathers... listen up. Imagine this: You worked 12-14 hour days, sacrificed your youth, your health, your dreams to build a life for your family. You paid the bills, the EMIs, the kids' school fees. You stayed loyal. You loved her. Then one day, she decides the marriage is 'over.' She walks out. Files for divorce. And the court orders YOU to pay her alimony. Month after month. Year after year. Your hard-earned money. Now here's the gut punch: What if that money is funding her new lifestyle? Hotels with her boyfriend. Weekend getaways. Shopping sprees. Parties. While you're left broke, depressed, fighting suicidal thoughts, struggling to even afford a decent meal or see your own kids? Should the courts grant EVEN ONE RUPEE if she's using it to enjoy with her BF in 5-star hotels? Even the Supreme Court is now calling this out. In a recent hearing before Justice Pardiwala’s bench, a wife demanded ₹5 crore alimony after a marriage that lasted just one year. The husband offered a reasonable ₹35-40 lakh. The court was shocked. Justice Pardiwala warned: “If such is going to be the stance of the wife, we may have to pass some orders which she may not like.” He told the husband’s lawyer, “You will be making a blunder by calling her back. You won’t be able to keep her. Her dreams are very big.” This isn’t support. This is legalized extortion. Alimony was created for a different era – when women had no education, no jobs, no independence. Today? Women are CEOs, earning as much or more. Dual-income homes are normal. Yet family courts still treat men like ATM machines with no expiry date. Real stories are everywhere. Men losing everything – houses, savings, dignity. Forced to pay lifelong alimony even after she remarries or lives with someone else. Courts rarely monitor how the money is spent. No accountability. She posts luxury vacations on Instagram while you're dodging creditors. Why should a man pay if: - She's capable of working but chooses not to? - She's in a new relationship, enjoying life on your dime? - The divorce was her choice, her adultery, her abandonment? - Kids are with you, or grown up? This isn’t equality. In an equal world, alimony should be gender-neutral, time-bound (maybe 1-2 years max for rehabilitation), and STRICTLY for basic needs — not lifestyle maintenance. Receipts mandatory. New partner? Automatic stop. Misuse? Repayment and consequences. Men are dying inside. Suicide rates among divorced men are sky-high. Families destroyed. Children alienated. Society pays the price with broken homes. We need ALIMONY REFORM NOW: - Temporary and needs-based only. - Factor in her income, assets, new relationships. - Equal rights for men too. - No lifelong payments in short marriages. - Audit the spending. End the free ride. If you're a man facing this, know you're not alone. Share your story. Fight back legally. Join men's rights groups. Warn your brothers and sons before marriage — prenups, financial transparency, red flags. To the lawmakers and judges: Stop punishing men for existing. Marriage shouldn’t be a financial trap. True justice is gender-neutral. Protect families, not one side. Tag a man who needs to hear this. Share if you’ve seen the pain. Comment your thoughts — should courts fund her hotel romance with YOUR money? Even the Supreme Court said enough in the 5 crore case. This system must change. For our sons. For justice. For humanity. #MensRights #AlimonyReform #DivorceIsScam #FamilyCourtBias #StopMisuse #JusticePardiwala #SCAlimony

"She was never married, she did it for content" The mystery surrounding social media influencer KefiBoo's supposed marriage has been solved. A year ago, the media influencer whose real name is Kefilwe Mabote broke the internet after she posted pictures of herself posing with a herd of Bonsmara cows with a caption: "Kefilwe Mabote ke makoti alilili". She also shared pictures of her 'lobola' celebration on the same day in another post surrounded by her family dressed in a custom-made cowskin dress by famous designer Gert-Johan Coetzee and rocked a big diamond ring. In another post, she wrote: "03•01•2023. This time it is to infinity. I remember God's teachings vividly, stumbling across Psalm 37:4 which read: "Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.' According to Zimoja, it turns out that the content creator who is also an estate agent was never married. According to sources close to the influencer, she claimed to be a third wife of a wealthy businessman man whose name is known by ZiMoja. She was dating the businessman at the time. "There was never a marriage, that entire thing was staged for content. The poor guy nearly lost one of his wives after she posted those pictures, the wife thought he secretly married her without her knowledge," said the alleges. Another source told ZiMoja that Mabote roped in her family, and they agreed because they know that's where she makes her money. It is said that she is known for going an extra mile to create interesting content for her social media clout. "We all knew at the time that it was just for content. She also did it to make her well-known ex-boyfriend jealous after he left her for another influencer. She fooled her followers and other celebrities who were quick to congratulate her," the source said. According to the source her content was contrived to gain more followers. "The bigger the following, the bigger the bucks- if indeed was married where was her hubby during the festive season because she was on vacation with her friends," asked another source. ZiMoja called Mabote for a comment, but she did not answer our calls or respond to our texts.

🚨 "THE BEST BOYFRIEND I'VE EVER HAD": Erika Kirk’s Secret Past Exposed. 🚨 The internet just unearthed a massive treasure trove of old Instagram posts between Erika Kirk and a woman named Sydney, and the receipts are undeniable. We already know Erika treats her life like a movie role ("Hourly Baby Rentals," anyone?), but new evidence suggests her marriage to Charlie Kirk might have been the biggest "gig" of her career. Was the "Trad Wife" persona just an act? Because these receipts prove she was playing for the other team long before she met Charlie. THE SMOKING GUN: In a resurfaced photo of Erika crowning her friend Sydney, the caption explicitly says: 👑 "Disclaimer: we are not actually dating but she’s the best boyfriend I’ve ever had." "Best Boyfriend"? It gets wilder. Erika’s comments to Sydney are thirstier than anything she ever said to her husband. THE LEAKED COMMENTS: 👮‍♀️ "Cuff me or nah?" (When Sydney replies "5 years to life," Erika says: "Good thing I submitted my application 6 years ago.") 🛑 "All those curves, and me with no brakes." 👁️ "You sure look pretty through the peep hole." (Creepy or flirtatious? You decide). 👔 "Your shirt looks a lot like my thoughts, tied up with you." 🏰 "Just building our kingdom Bae." THE AESTHETIC: Look at the photos. The "heart hands" over the city skyline. The "cuff me" poses. This was the peak "closet lesbian" aesthetic of the era. And The Video... The flannel shirts, How they embrace when Erika surprised her. They look like star crossed lovers, this is sick. THE THEORY: Critics are saying that Marrying Charlie was just a gig—a role she accepted to further her mission and secure the bag. She wasn't looking for a husband; she was looking for a co-star. Her real chemistry? It was clearly reserved for "Bae" and the "curves" she had "no brakes" for. She wasn't a Trad Wife. She was the "Best Boyfriend." Tag Candace Owens and RT to expose the truth. The internet is forever. 👇 Credit to @Mia_Stretch for this Awesome Find. FOLLOW Her!

📌 A MESSAGE TO DEMOCRATS Nobody in America is more of a political prisoner than a black person. And the warden, or master, is a democrat. Please let my people go. A black person is not even allowed to speak against the democratic party without serious repercussions. Doing so makes you persona non grata. Colleagues, friends, and family distance themselves from you, not because they disagree but because they don't want democrats to catch them thinking freely. Because democrats have the power to strip you of your livelihood. Let my people go. Black people suffer from a psychological condition called vicarious punishment. Vicarious punishment is a form of observational or social learning in which an observer decreases or avoids certain behavior after watching someone else receive negative consequences for it. You can find plenty of examples of this during slavery. It seems not much has changed. Let my people go. Black people are some of the strongest people I know. But the democratic party is their kryptonite. We are some of the most outspoken people you will find anywhere on the planet. But when that democrat enters the room, we become mimes. When have you ever known a black person to suppress their own speech? Let my people go. Even if black people do disagree with you, it is because they have been subverted. Nuanced discussion has been disabled. Because black people also suffer from ideological subversion. This is when an external force undermines a group, society, or nation not primarily through direct attack, but by infiltrating, corrupting, or weaponizing its own institutions, culture, values, and people—turning them against their own collective interests, traditions, or survival. The truth is, the destruction of black community has been automated, with black intelligentsia writing the program updates. We may have had our physical bodies freed, but our minds are still shackled. Let my people go. I must admit that we will never overcome this. I must accept that we have been consumed and assimilated so deeply that we will never be politically free. The only thing left to do is let things run their course and watch everything burn. The democratic stronghold over our universities is too deeply entrenched to ever break free. Our most powerful force, black women, have been subverted so deeply that they will hate their own kind for not voting the right way. Like a bad horror movie, black women have become possessed. Let my people go. The HBCUs are our immediate enemies. The boule and black fraternities are our immediate enemies. They are nothing more than breeding grounds for democrat operatives and overseers. And what hurts me most is that the only way to freedom is through ourselves. The only thing that can free us is a black civil war. But I don't think we'll survive that. So, I plead. Let my people go. Not even money can free black people. Details emerged about Chili of TLC supporting the republican party and now she has to issue a public apology. For what? For thinking independently? For putting her money with her interests? Or because the democrats are ready to black list and take from her everything that she's worked for? Or is it for being a free negro? Let my people go.

A 17-year-old Japanese schoolgirl with long straight black hair, blunt bangs, white sailor blouse with pink collar/ribbon, grey pleated skirt, black knee-high socks and white sneakers realizes her completed exam paper was left in the science lab. 0–5s: She walks through the corridor, checks her bag, realizes the paper is missing, looks toward the lab and whispers 「まだ実験室にある…」. The girl stays completely still. 17–22s: She retrieves her bag, waits for passing students, exits quietly and closes the lab door. HUD: PAPER RECOVERED / RETURN TO CLASS 22–26s: She returns to class, quietly enters through the rear door while the teacher writes on the blackboard, sits at her desk and puts the paper inside her notebook. 26–30s — HARD CUT: Locked frontal classroom shot. In Remembrance of Suzanne Pleshette. Born | January 31, 1937 in New York City, New York, USA. Died | January 19, 2008 aged 70 in Los Angeles, California, USA. Suzanne Pleshette achieved television immortality in her role as Bob Newhart's wife in the 1970s classic situation comedy, The Bob Newhart Show (1972). For her role as “Emily Hartley” wife of psychologist “Bob Hartley” (played by Bob Newhart), Pleshette was nominated for the Emmy Award twice, in 1977 and 1978. She was also nominated for an Emmy in 1962 for a guest appearance on the TV series, Dr. Kildare (1961) and, in 1991, for playing the title role in Leona Helmsley: The Queen of Mean (1990) in a 1990 TV movie. Her acting career lasted almost 50 years. Suzanne Pleshette was born on January 31, 1937 in New York to Gene Pleshette, a TV network executive who had managed the Paramount Theatres in Manhattan and Brooklyn during the Big Band era, and the former Geraldine Kaplan, a dancer who performed under the pseudonym Geraldine Rivers. Pleshette claims that she was not an acting natural, but just “found” herself attending New York City's High School of the Performing Arts. After graduating high school, she attended Syracuse University for a semester before returning to NYC to go to Finch College, an elite finishing school for well-to-do young ladies. After a semester at Finch, Pleshette dropped out of college to take lessons from famed acting teacher Sanford Meisner at the Neighborhood Playhouse. She made her Broadway debut in 1957 as part of the supporting cast for the play Compulsion (1959). Initially cast as “The Fourth Girl”, she eventually took over the ingénue role during the play's run. Blessed with beauty, a fine figure, and a husky voice that made her seem older than her years, she quickly achieved success on both the small and big screens. She made her TV debut, at age 20, in Harbourmaster (1957), then was chosen as the female lead opposite superstar Jerry Lewis in his 1958 comedy, The Geisha Boy (1958). On Broadway, she replaced Anne Bancroft in the Broadway hit The Miracle Worker (1962). Once Pleshette started acting, her career never lagged until she was afflicted with cancer. Her most famous cinematic role was in Alfred Hitchcock's classic, The Birds (1963), as the brunette schoolteacher jilted by the hero of the film, “Mitch Brenner” (played by Rod Taylor). Pleshette's warm, earthy character was a perfect contrast to the icy blonde beauty, “Melanie Daniels” (Tippi Hedren). Frankly, it is hard to understand how Taylor's Mitch would jilt Pleshette's Annie, other than to work out Hitchcock's dark vision of society and psychosexual relations between the sexes, in which amoral blondes triumph for aesthetic rather than moral reasons. Still, it is for Emily Hartley she will always be remembered, for both the original show and her part in another show that had the most clever sign-off episode in TV series history. Bob Newhart had enjoyed a second success during the 1980s with his TV sitcom Newhart (1982), and when he decided to end that series, he asked Suzanne Pleshette to come back. She did, reprising her tole of Emily in a final episode of Newhart, where Newhart woke up as Bob Hartley from “The Bob Newhart Show” in the bedroom of the Hartley's Chicago apartment, Pleshette's Emily at his side. Bob Hartley then told his wife Emily of a crazy dream he'd just had, where he was the proprietor of a Vermont inn overrun with eccentrics, the premise of the second show. After “The Bob Newhart Show” ceased production, Suzanne Pleshette worked regularly on television, mostly in TV movies. Although she was a talented dramatic actress, she had a flair for comedy and, in 1984, she headlined her own series at CBS. She helped develop the half-hour sitcom, and even had the rare honor of having her name in the title. Suzanne Pleshette Is Maggie Briggs (1984), however, was not a success. She co-starred with Hal Linden in another short-lived CBS TV series, The Boys Are Back (1994), in the 1994-95 season, then had recurring roles in the TV series Good Morning, Miami (2002) and 8 Simple Rules... for Dating My Teenage Daughter (2002). Pleshette was married three times: In 1964, she wed teen idol Troy Donahue, her co-star in the 1962 film Rome Adventure (1962) and in 1964's A Distant Trumpet (1964), but the marriage lasted less than a year. She was far more successful in her 1968 nuptials to Texas oil millionaire Tommy Gallagher, whom she remained married to until his death in 2000. After becoming a widow, she and widower Tom Poston (a Newhart regular) rekindled an old romance they had enjoyed when appearing together in “The Golden Fleecing”, a 1959 Broadway comedy. They were married from 2001 until Poston's death, in April 2007. Pleshette was diagnosed with lung cancer and underwent chemotherapy in the summer of 2006; she rallied, but in late 2007, she barely survived a bout of pneumonia. She died of respiratory failure on January 19, 2008, a few days shy of her 71st birthday. Suzanne Pleshette was remembered as a gregarious, down-to-earth person who loved to talk and often would regale her co-stars with a naughty story. Newhart and his producers had picked her for the role of Emily in “The Bob Newhart Show” after watching her appearances with Johnny Carson on Late Night with Johnny Carson (1962), where she showed herself to be a first-rate raconteuse. Because she could hold her own with Newhart's friend Carson, it was felt she would be a perfect foil as Newhart's TV wife. She accepted the part, and TV history was made.
