12 months ago i was surviving on tuna cans in Dubai this was the disgusting 12m² apartment I got kicked out for unpaid rent today I'm making $62K+/month from AI & live wherever I want in September 2024, i paid $4,000 to flew to Dubai for Hassan Haider's mastermind thinking I'd network for 3 days and go home what happened next was the most unhinged year of my life on day 1 I had a Closer Cartel sales interview at 12 AM Dubai time while staying at Paramount Hotel 1 AM: went to the balcony and met two men in their 40s first time I'd ever talked to actual millionaires they had yachts, showed me pictures with Real Madrid footballers, chain smoking on the top floor bars until 4 AM as a naive kid fresh out of college, i was completely enchanted by these guys they gave me the "sell me this pen" test on the spot - i remember nailing it half drunk lmao they were impressed enough to spend hours with me, showing off their lifestyle, promising rolexes, talking about making me rich after ONE conversation with these strangers, my 21-year-old brain made the most impulsive decision of my life: abandoned my entire US setup to move to Dubai permanently and join them on their venture of 'commodity trading' i thought i'd found my ticket to the top i didn't even attend a single mastermind event I paid $4,000 originally for my parents lost their fucking minds the household was in complete chaos for months thought I was getting scammed by "retarded people" I'd just met the honeymoon phase in dubai lasted exactly 14 days. then reality hit... these "mentors" were complete amateurs one was an alcoholic who'd be supportive one day, then threaten me the next would threaten me over 200 dirhams ($50) convinced me to invest my entire $4,000 net worth in commodity trading told me he had CIA connections who'd "take me down" as a 21-year-old dependent on visa sponsorship, these threats felt like death sentences a year later, still haven't seen that money back spent months trying to broker copper cathode, crude oil, gold deals worth tens of thousands thinking I'd make $50K commissions that would solve everything none of the deals ever closed just endless paperwork leading nowhere we were all inexperienced amateurs pretending to be commodity traders the survival period was insane my relationship w/ the landlord broke down when I couldn't pay rent for 2-3 weeks, i survived on 1-2 cans of tuna daily lost 22 pounds, went from 67kg to 57kg all my credit cards were over limits, all debit accounts negative, rent in dallas was overdue literally "live or die trying" mentality for 3 days couldn't even go back to my place had to go to bars and pick up different women just to have somewhere to sleep one from Iran, one from Eastern Europe, third i don't remember meanwhile i'm still trying everyday to make cash - training people at the gym, doing random gigs for anything get money in yet funnily enough despite being financially broke, i somehow maintained access to exclusive social circles would be invited to private superyachts with 7 millionaires and 30-40 Russian, Ukrainian, Swedish supermodels private mansion parties in Marina Bay the contrast i'd see on a day by day was surreal: one day surviving on tuna cans, next day in the burj khalifa at 3am at a girls place overlooking the business bay, then 4 hours later, i'm in my shoebox room the entire experience in dubai definitely taught me more lessons about life than i ever would watching a podcast or reading a book i learnt that personal energy & charisma matter more than financial status if i could access the highest social circles while being completely broke, then what can i not do? meanwhile, I was working remotely for Ticketmaster with massive timezone conflicts - getting warnings for poor performance daily. I wasn't even showing up to team meetings because I'd fuck off to random establishments to connect with people and try to make something happen if I'd been fired, would've lost my visa status and been permanently unable to return to the US was literally playing with my entire future amidst all this chaos, i did end up making one or two really good friends however the only solace i'd get once in a while was going to the Dubai Mall for hotpot, just having normal fun conversations one of them actually worked for the CIA - he'd have the coolest & most surreal stories, we would often hit the gym together and finally, the turning point came in November 2024 at 2 AM when i discovered a video about AI chatbots with nothing to lose, i built my first chatbot that night started selling basic AI services on Upwork began making real money from AI systems and kept doubling down on it around the start of this year, i returned to the US when AI work generated consistent income and since then, its been only up so yeah there was a fair amount of loneliness during that stint complete uncertainty on a day by day basis. in flight or fight mode pretty much 24/7 constantly thinking where i'm going to get my next 10 AED from but exposing myself to all of that turmoil has definitely given me an edge in business, whether it comes to negotiation, deal-making, seeing through shit, leading people, putting people in their place, etc if you're also chasing any kind of goal/ mission just remember that its never truly over it only is when you convince yourself it is you can always rise from the ashes and have an epic comeback story to tell

Several months ago I read an article entitled "Fart walks save lives" and ever since I've been a fan of a post-prandial stroll... It is so good for the digestion and general health; it gets the blood circulating, burns calories and let's you talk through the day with your other half....(farting is optional). So tonight, after a home-cooked meal, I persuaded james to come along the river for a 40 minute walk- and-talk. It was pitch black on the towpath and we saw only 3 other people, all wearing earpods . On the way back we heard, " help! Help!"... and at first thought it was one of the many rowing coaches you hear on The Thames - even after dark. But then I saw a bicycle on its side and shouted after the voice. 20 ft below us, in the water, was a bloke who had come off his bike and fallen headlong down the banking. He had flattened some of the bushes and trees but was still very difficult to see amongst the thick foliage. James scrambled down as far as safely possible to get a better look. The chap was still in his bike helmet, waist deep in the water and thick mud but unable to get any grip at all on the sheer brick wall. James got back up and found his very long bike lock which he then dangled down to try and pull him up - while I nervously said, " please don't get pulled in too.." (eventually James said, " yes I heard you the first 3 times..."). He was too far down to pull up but was pleading with us not to call 999..."it's just so embarrassing " he said.... He sounded like he was in his 50s, well-spoken and very fed up with himself! I stayed talking to him while James ran to get a longer rope and torch from home (but also gave me the nod to call 999). I was worried that our friend might let go or try to climb out and lose his grip if he knew the lifeguard was coming so I kept him talking and asked if there was anyone else I could ring for him. He rather ruefully said no. James appeared back sprinting with the rope. But seconds after speaking to 999, the Chiswick Lifeboat appeared heroically through the dark. They scooped our water-logged Bradley wiggins up and took him down to Kew and off to hospital to get checked over. We walked his bike back to our house and hope to reunite them soon. The moral to the story is that you should never flop on the sofa after dinner when you could walk round the block. Because that article was right - fart walks do save lives! 🎵My Dolly Parton Story🎶 - (Video and additional photos in 🧵 below) Exactly one year before the government shut down the world because of the #CommieVirus — especially killing the live entertainment industry — my bands were firing on all cylinders. My private event band, Bull City Syndicate, was doing especially well. We’d been the headlining entertainment for the past two North Carolina Governor’s Inaugural Balls, and played hundreds of high-end corporate events, charity balls, and top-shelf weddings. On March 2, 2019, we were especially excited to be hired as the featured entertainment for a charity event where Dolly Parton would be the main attraction. Not as a musical performer herself, but to promote her own charity, Imagination Library (Imagination Library), and to do a live poetry reading from her own work. The event was the 25th Anniversary Smart Start Gala. Raleigh’s mayor, the governor of NC, and many other VIPs would be in attendance. While the event planner never suggested that we perform or back up Dolly on any of her tunes, it was, in the back of my mind, something I thought would have been really cool. But not something I’d dare suggest or insinuate on my own. My only preshow contact with Dolly’s organization was with her head of security. The Marble’s Kids Museum in Raleigh, NC is a fabulous venue for fun charity events, but it has only one “green room” next to the staging area. Security informed me that the band would have to completely evacuate that shared space at least 30-minutes before Dolly arrived for her portion of the evening’s proceedings. (Not an unusual or inappropriate request, given her enormous superstar status.) The entire 10-piece band was on stage when Dolly was escorted through the back entrance and into the green room. There was some back-and-forth between VIP speeches and live music, so the band stayed in place throughout. Since the event was completely sold out and standing room only, we knew we’d have the best vantage of Dolly if we just stayed on the stage. Dolly’s presentation was scheduled to be only about 10-15 minutes. While the governor and mayor were delivering remarks just in advance of Dolly taking the stage, I looked back at the green room door, off stage left, and I saw my son, Duncan, in full-on, intense conversation with Dolly! (WHAT?!) Duncan, who was only 20 years old at the time and already a freak-of-nature musician himself, was working on my stage crew that night. I’m the band leader, so I’m having to give full attention to the event host and what’s happening on the speaker’s side of the stage … but only 20 feet away, Duncan and Dolly are chatting away like long-lost friends. Finally, at one of my many glances in their direction, Dolly and Duncan catch my eye and both start waving me over to them. I silently point at my chest, then mouth, “Me?” They both nod, say yes, and wave more insistently. I dart off the stage, over to the dimly lit green room entrance corridor. Duncan, who is much taller than I am, puts his hand on my shoulder and introduces me to “Dolly Parton.” (You can imagine the look on my face. Ha!) He tells me that Dolly has a request. I lean down to put my ear close to Dolly, so that she wouldn’t have to speak too loudly while the governor was talking to the audience. (I can imitate her voice, and I wish you could hear it in her voice and Tennessee mountain accent right now.) She says to me: “I didn’t know there was going to be a band here tonight. If I’d known there would be a band, I’d have had you learn some of my songs.” Then she came right out with it. “Do y’all know any of my songs?” I straightened back up, and over the course of less than five seconds my mind raced through every Top-40 solo and duet hit single of hers I’d ever heard on the radio. Country, pop, and otherwise. I made an immediate band leader decision … and lied my ass off. “Yes, we can play ‘Jolene.’” We’d never performed or rehearsed “Jolene,” or any other Dolly Parton tune, in the 20 years I’d led that band. The conversation continued: DOLLY: “Y’all know ‘Jolene?!’” ME: “Yes, ma’am.” DOLLY: “That’s great! When I finish reading my poem, I’ll tell everyone we’re going to sing ‘Jolene.’” ME: “We’ll be ready. What key do you do ‘Jolene’ in?” DOLLY: “I don’t know.” Dolly’s personal assistant leaned over to me and whispered in my ear, “C minor.” (Cm) The original key for “Jolene” was C-sharp minor (C#m), but I assume at 73 years old she might be lowering keys, as many aging vocalists tend to do. But Danie, as a Black gospel artist, was immensely versatile, able to sing anything from Aretha Franklin to Lady Gaga and leaving you wanting more. And although a Black Gospel artist, her secret desire and ambition was to be a Country music artist. (I kid you not.) So, when I asked her if she knew the words and harmonies to “Jolene,” THE LOOK she gave me was … “Seriously? I do wish the event planner had informed Dolly and her team that a band was at the event. I’d have loved to have learned a handful of her songs for the show. Maybe I’d have even been able to sing with her one of her chart-topping duets that she recorded with Kenny Rogers. Handy Music Festival in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. At the time, I was managing a renowned Shoals songwriter and his band, James LeBlanc & The Winchesters. Some members of James’ band were performing a lunchtime show at one of the local Shoals area eateries as part of the 10-day festival’s scheduled events. I arrived a few minutes late, and the place was packed. Seated alone at a table near the stage was a woman with bleached Big Hair. She saw me looking for a spot and waved me over. Before I got to the table, I knew she had to be related to Dolly. Sure enough, it was Stella Parton, Dolly’s sister. Stella has had her own far less notable career in music, so I made sure not to gush over Dolly (just in case, and not knowing the family dynamics), but I did tell her about my band performing with Dolly earlier that year. 🎵My Dolly Parton Story🎶 - (Video and additional photos in 🧵 below) Exactly one year before the government shut down the world because of the #CommieVirus — especially killing the live entertainment industry — my bands were firing on all cylinders. My private event band, Bull City Syndicate, was doing especially well. We’d been the headlining entertainment for the past two North Carolina Governor’s Inaugural Balls, and played hundreds of high-end corporate events, charity balls, and top-shelf weddings. On March 2, 2019, we were especially excited to be hired as the featured entertainment for a charity event where Dolly Parton would be the main attraction. Not as a musical performer herself, but to promote her own charity, Imagination Library (Imagination Library), and to do a live poetry reading from her own work. The event was the 25th Anniversary Smart Start Gala. Raleigh’s mayor, the governor of NC, and many other VIPs would be in attendance. While the event planner never suggested that we perform or back up Dolly on any of her tunes, it was, in the back of my mind, something I thought would have been really cool. But not something I’d dare suggest or insinuate on my own. My only preshow contact with Dolly’s organization was with her head of security. The Marble’s Kids Museum in Raleigh, NC is a fabulous venue for fun charity events, but it has only one “green room” next to the staging area. Security informed me that the band would have to completely evacuate that shared space at least 30-minutes before Dolly arrived for her portion of the evening’s proceedings. (Not an unusual or inappropriate request, given her enormous superstar status.) The entire 10-piece band was on stage when Dolly was escorted through the back entrance and into the green room. There was some back-and-forth between VIP speeches and live music, so the band stayed in place throughout. Since the event was completely sold out and standing room only, we knew we’d have the best vantage of Dolly if we just stayed on the stage. Dolly’s presentation was scheduled to be only about 10-15 minutes. While the governor and mayor were delivering remarks just in advance of Dolly taking the stage, I looked back at the green room door, off stage left, and I saw my son, Duncan, in full-on, intense conversation with Dolly! (WHAT?!) Duncan, who was only 20 years old at the time and already a freak-of-nature musician himself, was working on my stage crew that night. I’m the band leader, so I’m having to give full attention to the event host and what’s happening on the speaker’s side of the stage … but only 20 feet away, Duncan and Dolly are chatting away like long-lost friends. Finally, at one of my many glances in their direction, Dolly and Duncan catch my eye and both start waving me over to them. I silently point at my chest, then mouth, “Me?” They both nod, say yes, and wave more insistently. I dart off the stage, over to the dimly lit green room entrance corridor. Duncan, who is much taller than I am, puts his hand on my shoulder and introduces me to “Dolly Parton.” (You can imagine the look on my face. Ha!) He tells me that Dolly has a request. I lean down to put my ear close to Dolly, so that she wouldn’t have to speak too loudly while the governor was talking to the audience. (I can imitate her voice, and I wish you could hear it in her voice and Tennessee mountain accent right now.) She says to me: “I didn’t know there was going to be a band here tonight. If I’d known there would be a band, I’d have had you learn some of my songs.” Then she came right out with it. “Do y’all know any of my songs?” I straightened back up, and over the course of less than five seconds my mind raced through every Top-40 solo and duet hit single of hers I’d ever heard on the radio. Country, pop, and otherwise. I made an immediate band leader decision … and lied my ass off. “Yes, we can play ‘Jolene.’” We’d never performed or rehearsed “Jolene,” or any other Dolly Parton tune, in the 20 years I’d led that band. The conversation continued: DOLLY: “Y’all know ‘Jolene?!’” ME: “Yes, ma’am.” DOLLY: “That’s great! When I finish reading my poem, I’ll tell everyone we’re going to sing ‘Jolene.’” ME: “We’ll be ready. What key do you do ‘Jolene’ in?” DOLLY: “I don’t know.” Dolly’s personal assistant leaned over to me and whispered in my ear, “C minor.” (Cm) The original key for “Jolene” was C-sharp minor (C#m), but I assume at 73 years old she might be lowering keys, as many aging vocalists tend to do. The days of calling it an “alleged recording” are over. Aidan recorded Karen without her consent. Then he played that recording for multiple people with one purpose- to turn them against her. Everything I’m saying below is based on what Aidan himself told me, repeatedly, long before any of this went public. And to make it even clearer, I’m including a clip in the comments of Aidan admitting directly to me that: He did record Karen, He lied about Nurse Kim not hearing it, He said it was “not a big deal,” and He admitted he has zero proof that I shared anything, because I didn’t. He’s publicly accusing me of something he knows he can’t prove because it never happened. Who he shared the recording with These names aren’t guesses or assumptions. They came straight from Aidan. -Nurse Kim -Will -Jimmy (Auntie Deb) -Jess Machado -Others I’m not naming because they haven’t lied publicly or attacked me. Will heard it. Kim heard it. Jimmy heard it. Jess publicly admitted she heard it. Aidan told each of us at different times. The initial list of 4 has since grown exponentially because he forgot who he shared it with. This is what he does. He overshares, forgets who he told, and then lies when the fallout hits. The Timeline August 26: Howie Carr announces Karen Read and team will join show. Aidan melts down and makes now-deleted tweet bashing Howie Carr. Throws shade at both Karen and Howie on his show. He even tried to beg the producer to let him go on with her. He eventually bashes said producer on twitter as well. August 28: Karen goes on Howie Carr show. Aidan throws a hissy fit because she didn’t thank him (after he’d been subtly attacking her for months and for going on Howie’s show at all). Aug 29: Karen and Aidan have a phone call. She gets rightfully angry with him, he stays calm and secretly records her. He then uses that recording to try to convince other content creators to turn on her. At first, he told me only 4 people heard it that same day, but now that is unknown. Like everything with Aidan, he shares things impulsively and forgets who he told after. Aug 30: The very next day, someone tells Karen that she was recorded and that Will and others have heard it. Karen contacts Will and he denies hearing it. Karen accuses Aidan directly of recording her and express what a betrayal it is. Sept 1: Aidan and I speak for the first time in over a month since our breakup. He tells me Karen is “accusing him of recording her.” I asked, “Well… did you?” He said yes, and followed it with, “But I think she’s bluffing because she probably doesn’t have a recording.” I told him that’s a very specific accusation to make out of nowhere, she’s never accused you of recording her before, someone clearly told her. He repeated the same four names he claimed heard it. He was sure no one would dare betray him by doing the right thing and being honest with Karen. (Again, that list has grown since, because he lies, shares, forgets, and backtracks.) The Following week Karen repeatedly tells him she knows he recorded her. Aidan repeatedly lies and denies it. September 8 I hear the recording myself for the first time, during lunch with him. I don't ask to hear the recording, he shoves his phone in my face to listen. The recording is not what he described, where he painted Karen as an evil c*nt, just as he's done to his followers. Karen is rightfully angry and fed up with Aidan's antics. By this point, Karen already had the recording. Whoever told Karen was not me, because I didn’t even know the recording existed yet. Multiple people lied to her. She knows who they are. Someone eventually came clean. It wasn’t me. Karen never wanted Aidan to be criminally charged for this or “send him to jail” as he’s spun his narrative. Neither did I. All she wanted was for people to stop lying to her and for Aidan to stop disrespecting her. I happily lied for Aidan for quite awhile, but since he’s used me as the scapegoat for the recording leak, that’s over. Why People Lie People ask why these creators denied hearing it. Because they didn’t want to choose between Aidan and Karen. They wanted continued access, relevance, and possible media opportunities. For example, Kim told me during a two-hour call in October that she “didn’t know it was illegal” when she heard it and felt for Karen. Sure, a loyal Turtleboy follower doesn’t know about wiretapping laws. But she also didn’t want the Turtleboy wrath. She denied it publicly because she wanted to keep doors open with Karen. So she went along to try to keep playing both sides. Fine with me, until she started publicly bashing me too. To the Creators Pushing Aidan’s Narrative… Shame On You You spent two years defending Karen, raising money off her name, and building platforms on her story, then the minute Aidan needed cover, you parroted every lie he fed you to tear her down. Tonight He’s bringing on the same creators who have been lying for the last two months, the same people who denied hearing the recording even though they did. Let’s see what happens tonight. Some Big Numbers To Get Excited About Regular readers will know I often write of frustration at not moving fast enough. This mission I am on is really hard and sometimes it can seem impossibly big when I am down in the weeds dealing with dog issues on a daily basis. I have to say though that writing this tonight and looking through some numbers I feel for the first time that I am starting to make some large scale progress… A Second Island 🌴🥥 I live and help the dogs on the island of Koh Samui. There is an island of equal size called Koh Phangan just across the water. You probably have heard of it as the home of the world famous Full Moon Party. They have a similar problem with street dogs. Since the the 1st May I have starting funding a wonderful foundation called PACS to sterilise dogs there. They are starting with 50 this month. This is going to stop 1000s of future puppies. A big step. 90,000 Meals Served in 2023 So Far 🥘👨‍🍳 The cooking never stops. The dogs are all starting to benefit from a consistent and healthy meal per day. All the food is prepared in a central kitchen and handed out to volunteers to feed their dogs. With 5000 meals served per week around the island it blows my mind that soon we will serve the 100,000th wholesome plate of food in 2023. It wasn’t that long ago I was driving around on my moped with a 10kg bag of dry food feeding a paltry 20 dogs per day on my own. 7 Puppies Re-Homed 🐶🏠 In the last couple of weeks there have been 25-30 puppies show up. It can be incredibly tough to find them homes but thanks to a great Thai lady I have been able to get 7 into their forever homes around the country. It has involved a lot of vet visits, 1000kms of travel and lots of expense but that is 7 dogs who have a future now who wouldn’t have made it otherwise. 2 Miracles For Lady 🙏😊 The first miracle for Lady was the fact that she got off the street and was able to start walking a little again despite her two broken hips. We’ve been getting her a lot of treatment and she is thriving. Her 2nd miracle was when a lovely newly retired gentleman called Jamie spotted her and offered Lady a forever home to live out her life right here on the island. Nobody usually wants old and sick dogs so this incredibly selfless act is the huge slice of luck that Lady deserved after all the suffering she has endured. The Best Day Of Tina’s Life 🐕🥰 Tina was used for breeding puppies. We all saw the horrendous state she was in when she was rescued. Last week she was well enough to be sterilised so as she never has to have another puppy in her life again. It might seem like a small footnote in the bigger scheme of things but it was a moment of closure for this wonderful lady who has suffered so much. She can now just focus on being a dog for for the first time in her life and sharing all the love she has to give. Tina was the 521st dog I have sterilised since starting. King Whacker Of Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿✈️ Whacker is a very special dog who was one of the first arrivals back in November. Someone had tried to kill him with a pick axe. After recovering he turned into a true gent and is the big boss at the land. I promised he would never have to go back on the streets and this week after a process to find him the right home he got the news that he will be heading to Glasgow. Long live Whacker, the King of Scotland. 125 Dogs To Be Sterilised In May ✂️🐕 I spoke about how abstract sterilising can be for many people to understand but it is what will save the most dogs from suffering. In all of 2022 I was able to do 302 dogs. In the month of May alone I have a minimum target to fund 125. In June I hope to take that to 250 dogs for the month. Not easy and very expensive but I’m putting the groundwork in place to scale this up. Nothing is more important. Little Rodney was in getting the snip last week as one of the dogs this month. 7 European Dogs 🇪🇺🛫 By the end of June there will be 7 dogs who have traveled to Europe. Lottie, Hope, King Whacker, Rodney and Moritz will join Little Squeak and Peaches who just arrived in Germany. I can’t explain how hard it is to figure all this stuff out and get the processes in place. I’m focusing on Europe now as it is the easiest for travel and paperwork but the rest of the world will happen soon too. It’s only 7 dogs but seeing them in their homes or about to travel makes me so happy and proud for them all. Progress The suffering I see on a daily basis for street dogs means that I am never really happy with the speed and progress of my mission. I just want to help them all immediately but that isn’t possible. Having said that, reading this update and knowing what else is coming in the pipeline makes me feel that I am making genuine progress. Between food, funding sterilisations, medical care and re-homing dogs I can genuinely now say I’m helping 100s of dogs per month but also stopping the suffering of 1000s in the future. As I always say I could never do any of this without the online support and good wishes of everybody on the mission with me. I don’t feel like I am alone doing this. My role is to make sure I don’t waste all the support and ensure I think of ways to move faster and execute accordingly. A lot done, a lore more to do.
