Today, MLS and Black Players For Change celebrate Juneteenth—the historic date commemorating the emancipation of enslaved African-Americans in the US and the third anniversary of BPC. To honor this key marker in US history, we collaborated with artist Gianni Lee and world-renowned photographer and founder of charcoalpitchfc, MelDCole, to develop Juneteenth-inspired jerseys along with a commemorative patch.

They understood that freedom is something to cherish, and that each generation must continue the fight for justice and equality. Today, we celebrate all of the joy of Juneteenth. And we recommit ourselves to ensuring the promise of America belongs to all of us.

We can work from home, and we can also save soil from home! The first and foremost thing is to raise awareness about the importance of maintaining a healthy level of soil organic content. The more people know about it, the more of us can speak for strong, implementable soil policies. Whatever else we do in our gardens is also an important part of our commitment, but we must be aware that just transforming a few yards in our backyard is not the solution the world needs.
