From the archives of the Yemeni Armed Forces Interviews with ten Saudi soldiers and two Sudanese soldiers captured by the Yemeni Army on the Yemen–Saudi border fronts. They were captured on June 14, 2021. The interviews feature the prisoners introducing themselves, their military ranks, units, and formations, as well as their military numbers. On January 13, Valerii "Yarylo" Horishnii, senior sergeant of the 12th Special Forces Brigade Azov, defender of Mariupol, and former prisoner of war, delivered a speech at an Arria-formula meeting of the UN Security Council titled "Violations of International Humanitarian Law Against Ukrainian Prisoners of War and Civilian Detainees." In his address, he spoke about the torture and abuse that Ukrainian POWs endure in Russian prisons, shared his own experience of being held in Russian captivity, and highlighted the systematic violations of the Geneva Convention Relative to the Treatment of Prisoners of War by the Russians. He also reminded the international community of the terrorist attack in Olenivka orchestrated by the Russians in July 2022, which resulted in the deaths of over 50 Azov POWs and left more than 130 wounded. At the end of his speech, Valerii urged the attendees to facilitate the exchange of Ukrainian POWs, keep the issue of Russia's grave violations of humanitarian law on the agenda, apply pressure on Russia to grant the United Nations and the International Committee of the Red Cross access to Ukrainian POWs, and demand to end the criminal prosecution of POWs.
