The Syrian Government under Jolani has freed the STG commander Talha Abu Bakr. Before that, Talha was in prison for criticising Jolani - he was also among the commanders who spearheaded the massacres against the Alawite and Druze minority in Syria at the hands of the STG - proudly posting videos of him walking on corpses of murdered civilians. The Jolani led STG is again demonstrating that they do not care about prosecuting the perpetrators of the massacres against minorities in Syria - Talha as an example was imprisoned for insulting Jolani yet he was not punished for massacring countless innocent civilians, even posting the evidence himself.

Thousands of Alawite public employees have been dismissed from their jobs, and over ten thousand families have had their breadwinners forcibly detained in prisons run by Julani’s forces. Al Jazeera confirms in their live coverage of the events in Aleppo the presence of ISIS fighters amongst the forces of the Syrian Government of the Jolani led Syrian Administration. These ISIS fighters are not wearing the uniform of the Syrian Governments military apparatus nor do they bear any other insignia. The STG is using ISIS fighters as paramilitary forces to attack the Kurdish neighbourhoods in Aleppo - they did the same at the Syrian coast, where that massacred the Alawite minority and in Suweida where they massacred the Druze minority.

The clashes saw a brief pause and have since escalated into large scale clashes - the STG attempted to storm the neighbourhoods several times.

Over 50 Alawite girls have been abducted over the last two months. This is not to mention the 1800 Alawite civilians killed on the coast in March, or the 8 Alawite villages north of Hama that have been completely cleansed. The government has done little if anything to stop these killings, many of which have been carried out by government forces. Meanwhile, crowds in Homs have been parading in the Alawite sections of town chanting “Homs is for the Sunnis, Alawites get out.” At Homs Univ. Imams have been preaching against Christians and Alawites. These sectarian killings complicate the effort by Western gov's to lift sanctions or to affirm that the Sharaa gov is doing the right thing. Please understand this agreement as an official declaration of the general understanding; a >Memorandum< And just in general: Jolani 'Ahmad Al Sharaa' has ascended to the throne of Syria for just 3 months. 3 months in and he ethnically cleansed a minority (Alawites) and sees his rule challenged by Iran - while Israel is further strengthening their position in southern Syria. So much can happen within the span of a few days and a year has 365 days. Let’s wait and see what will happen and how things are being implemented or if they are being implemented at all. Talks can collapse at any time. And with all that: Please think about why this happened today just 1 day after the horrifying events at the Syrian Coast by the Syrian government Forces - Jolani probably made major concessions to the SDF in these negotiations and the general outlook on the details of the future-agreement. Jolanis position in Syria has been majorly weakened, Druze in southern Syria outright reject him now fearing that Jolani will ethnically cleanse them next. International community also applies major pressure on him resulting from his actions at the Syrian coast. Jolani now needs the SDF to reappear as the good guy again and he had to act now before the international community starts to further back the SDF and alienate Jolani; which is why I believe that Jolani had to make concessions and that the SDF used this to their advantage. Also: Nothing in this statement suggests that the AANES will cease to exist next week or in the near future - it will be a very slow implementation of what has been agreed upon. After details have been agreed upon of course. And first will be the return of Kurdish IDPs to Afrin, which the SDF will carefully observe.
