Funny to think John Hamm obviously spent the 90s hanging out in indie theaters, seeing everything that came along. One of us! One of us!

Favourite part of his Apple tv show Your Friends and Neighbors is that he’s always watching Criterion classic movies when he’s at home

The fact my man pulled out WALLE makes me love him even more

The Vanishing (1988) - George Sluizer

My guy was not there to fuck around.

Great pocket square. The Pride of #STL Performers Everywhere. Both he & Don loved the movies. #JonHamm #MadMen #CriterionCollection 🎞️🖤🤍

Me if I ever get into the Criterion closet:

In the same way the hired Nicholas Cage to play an older version of Spiderman, I would an older version of Batman played by John Hamm

so he has superb taste and the micro-reviews highlight his enthusiasm for the films

Now THAT’S how you host a visit to the Criterion Closet. Nice work, Mr. Hamm.

Never enter a closet with that guy.

“My favorite film? Fraternity hazing blood lust”

Of course he picks a title that is reminscent of his iconic Mad Men character 😂

first pocket square in the criterion closet?

THE VANISHING still chills me even thinking about it

BOTTLE ROCKET MENTION

"I used to be in a TV show called Mad Men..." that was very much Bojack Horseman coded.

Most zaddy to ever zaddy

It's all about the pocket square. His list is stellar. Daytrippers and Bottle Rocket are brilliant films in my humble opinion. Rock on Jon. #bemyneighbor

Bad, Jon Hamm, bad… Whatever you do, do NOT watch The Vanishing. It’s the one movie I wish I could unsee.

He is so charming

The Vanishing - “Huh…this movie…phbphbphbphb.” Exactly, John…exactly.

kino all the way through

Daytrippers is such a wonderful indie.

Jon Hamm is so handsome! He has great taste, too!

I've never heard of The Vanishing, but it sounds interesting. Thanks Mr. Hamm!

I'd love to do this

I'm not going to say anything bad about Jon Hamm, he might take me to a frat house and beat me half to death with a hammer.

I love him

There's a pattern to his selection—it's no accident that Cronenberg, Man Bites Dog, and The Vanishing appear. Combined with a very warm film - very humanistic/sociological selection

The concept of Jon Hamm knowing how big 35mm is
