Manhattan PG Jaden Winston (Jaden Winston) has brought his game to a new level over the last few weeks. In his last five games, he's averaging 12.8 PPG, 4.8 APG, 6.0 RPG, and 2.8 STL/G on 65.4% TS To give you an idea of how unique that is, no other player in the country, regardless of age, is matching those averages in their last five games. On the season, Winston is averaging 8.6 PPG, 3.7 RPG, 4.5 APG, and 2.3 SPG, having been vaulted into the starting PG role from day one of the season as a true freshman. While it took some time to find his footing, Winston has emerged as a star recently and should make the MAAC's All-Rookie team if his performance holds up. A quick look at new Alabama QB commit Elijah Haven via MaxPreps. A couple of things you’ll notice right off the bat - Haven is TALL and can see most, if not all, of the field. His mechanics are coming along but could use some tweaking. This will allow him to more accurately layer passes - an area has improved between his sophomore and junior season. The ceiling for the #1 QB out of the 2027 recruiting class is extremely high!!! If Alabama can put a little more weight on this kid - you’re potentially looking at a lighter version of Cam Newton back there.

Exhibit A proving college football has been made far worse by the 12 team playoff… The year is 2013. Alabama and Auburn have won the last 4 national titles. Alabama is going for 3 in a row, but they 100% need to beat their rival away from home in the Iron Bowl. What results is the sports’ most memorable/exciting moment of the 21st Century. Alabama was eliminated and their reign ended. Auburn made it to the national title game. Today, both teams would know they were in the playoffs regardless of the outcome, and this iconic moment becomes more comedic than significant. ESPN has taken so much from us in their money grab, and we have gotten very little in return. 😡🤮🥲
