In Bruges deserves to be called a masterpiece- it’s a near perfect film but despite that, this only earned one Oscar nomination, and that was Martin McDonagh’s nomination for Best Original Screenplay. I think multiple actors should’ve been nominated & this should’ve been nominated for Best Picture. It just speaks to the fact that this film was ahead of its time.

I can’t believe this guy. I get that Kou is shy, but he should’ve seen through Nina’s intentions. She was looking for an escape from that stressful environment and thought he’d be the one to take her away. Instead, he rambled on about Gundam.. It's always Gundam on his mind, never the beautiful woman in front of him. Sometimes, you have to balance your priorities, and he needs to learn that lesson, or he might end up alone. I really feel for Nina. She really wanted to go out with him.
