Joni Mitchell's performance really took my breath away. Stellar! The variety of performances this year harks back to when the Grammys were actually worth watching.

This song has a completely different meaning now that she actually has seen life from "both sides now." I think that's what made this performance so incredibly moving. At 21, how could she have possibly known the ups and downs she would face. Brava Joni. Brava!

We were blessed to see a lifetime in that Grammy performance. Hurt, joy, and the strands of being and experience that connect the two. Soaringly beautiful.
