TMZ reported that an individual named Jefferson Bates in Washington State filed to trademark the phrase, “Very Demure .. Very Mindful ..” 🔗:

We will NOT be buying any merch from anyone that isnt you love 💕

There’s a trademark lawyer who just made a video saying she’s likely to win if you challenge this guy! Black woman saving the day!

Sorry but if my money isn’t going directly to jools if I buy merch that says “very demure” then I’m not buying it. Jefferson Bates is such a loser for doing that to her

I really hope Jools can challenge the trademark process!!!! They deserve to be able to sell merch! They made the word go viral. Period. ❤️

Oh Jefferson bates we gonna catch you

About to boycott any merch I see with “Demure” on it since the proceeds aren’t going to Jools

thats so so so rude, how can you ever do this to a person what the actual fuck

how can you trademark a word?

🥺💗 Listen @joolieannie we’re behind you. LAUNCH MERCH ANYWAY. We’ll support! It doesn’t have to have your catchphrase for us to want to buy it. Literally it can have anything else, but don’t let these losers stop your bag. And in the meantime, contest the trademark. You’ll win.

I was already doing social media, I was kind of a micro influencer, had about 16k on Instagram, so I used that platform to promote my OnlyFans because I was like, this is such a great platform. It brings together advlt contents, which I love.”
