But why? Give these people some banana leaves, Or literally anything. This isn't due to lack of plates or banana leaves. This is part of a religious ritual where devotees do this to appease G-d (don't ever look for logic in religion, any religion). There's a row of people with their food on plates across from the floor eaters also, the VIP section. It's a ritual to belittle themselves eating on the ground, it's like asking why the pope would touch/wash someone's feet, doesn't he know feet are dirty? Water makes it easier for bacteria to transfer to the food.

How was this man so sure that there will be Dumsor coming soon ? He said he is in the energy sector…!!! What did he mean by that ? Does he know people or work with people in there ? This man refused to sit next to a woman because his religion taught him that it was unacceptable. Yet he had no problem punching another woman in the face. Apparently, that’s acceptable instead. Where are all the feminists now? Sharia law is a “religion” of violence, dominance and it simply do not believe in the rights of women and in general of non muslim people. The sooner we understand it, the better.
