I respect Tommy Robinson. I would like to see him released from imprisonment and allowed to be with his family and friends.

Tommy is a real hero and very brave man. UK government should release him immediately. He hasn't done nothing wrong, but to expose these pakistani gangs who were raped and tortured girls across the country.

I was one of the people who believed all the spin about Tommy Robinson to my shame. I now believe the guy is genuine. I am so glad I looked into him and made my own mind up. He is in prison, for contempt of court but they have treated him like he is a mass murder. Shocking.

These comments are true and they are important. But there is another aspect of Tommy's story, which is his treatment by the British state under multiple parties, and what it reveals about the nature of that state and its ruling class. It is appalling - and ongoing.

Tommy is Israel first and supports Zionism. He has done great work on grooming gangs and exposing them, but his past associates don't do him any justice.
