The Walter Payton Award Finalist and FCS AA’s 38 career TDs are WR1 of all D1 prospects in the ‘23 draft class. Even though the outcome didn't feel like it, and the final box score didn't indicate it, Deshaun Watson had an excellent game for the #Browns on Sunday. What his stat line was: 24-32 (75% CMP), 176 yds, 1 TD, 1 INT (32 rush yds) What his stat line SHOULD have been: 26-33 (79% CMP), 290 yds, 2 TD, 0 INT (32 rush yds) Obviously, there are people every week determined to pin every loss on Watson. However, Watson was the lone bright spot in the Week 4 loss in Vegas. So far in 2024, the Browns have: - 14 dropped passes (most in the NFL) - Been blitzed 47 times (3rd most) - 19 sacks (most) - 257 RB rush yards (fewest) - Scored 66 total points (6th fewest) - 15.0 PPG average on offense (T-3rd fewest) Watson has been inconsistent to start the season, but the game against the #Raiders was easily his best game yet. That's a positive to build on moving forward if the offensive line and receiving groups can just play adequate football. #DawgPound

Birmingham has signed QB Andrew Peasley out of Wyoming. I love this signing. Been saying for a while now Peasley would make a great #UFL QB. Peasley started his career at Utah State before finishing at Wyoming. In two years there, he had a 16-8 record as a starter & threw for 4,395 yds & 37 TD. He also ran for 1,273 yds & 12 TD. He was a 2x All-Mountain West Honorable Mention selection. He was in the '24 draft class & signed w/ NYJ as an UDFA. Was cut after preseason along with former Stallions QB & 2024 #UFL MVP Adrian Martinez, whom the Jets brought back on the practice squad. Peasley has been a free agent since then. Donovan Edwards ended the season (Ohio State, Purdue & TCU) playing with a cast on his broken dominant hand & a torn patellar tendon in his knee. He had a choice to sit out, but he decided he had to play because they already had no Blake Corum, a Heisman Candidate. Safe to say Donovan solidified himself as a program legend with the way he fought through 2 massive injuries for the betterment of the team. vs Ohio State: 22 CAR 216 YDS 9.8 AVG 2 TD vs Purdue: 25 CAR 185 YDS 7.4 AVG 1 TD vs TCU: 23 CAR 119 YDS 5.2 AVG In this day & age you have people sitting out of all types of games while being fully healed, just so they don’t hurt their draft stock or future which is a fine choice, but you got to tip your hat to the ones who fight for their University. There seems to be this credit that is repeatedly given to DogPack for initially 'exposing' Kris Tyson, so 'at least he was right about that' even if there are other problems with his allegations. This is totally false, Kris Tyson was already being widely discussed/condemned back in July. DogPack in fact took advantage of this to promote his initial video which he himself clarified was nothing to do with Kris Tyson. Looking back now after the Soggy Cereal video it is very clear that he used this Kris Tyson situation to launch his deranged, error laden & dishonest campaign against Mr Beast because he was a disgruntled fired employee.

Meeting the youngest world heavyweight champion at 20 years old since 1986 and The Baddest Man on the Planet, Iron Mike Tyson. Words can’t describe this day for me meeting my hero, one of the greatest heavyweight boxers to ever enter the ring and listen to him talk about his boxing career on stage. I loved hearing him talking about his stories with his mentor, Cus D’amato and hearing him talk about his famous fights against Trevor Berbick when he won his first world title at 20 years old, Evander Holyfield and his insane rivalry and street fight against Mitch Green which he had a great laugh on stage talking about it. As he walked out I thought to myself “This is the closest thing I’ll experience to being at a Mike Tyson ring walk.” And it was unbelievable! Throughout the show he spoke with humbleness, honesty and showed how grateful he is for his boxing career and how his life is now. Anyone that knows me knows Mike Tyson is the one person I’d ever want to meet and never in a million of years did I ever think I’d meet him. Thank you Mike! I’ll be talking about this day and experience forever! Mike Tyson

7 Foot Colorado Sophomore Bangot Dak was one of the most intriguing players in CBB this season Dak finished the season averaging 8/4/1 along with 1 Block and 1 Steal in only 20 MPG Dak is a great athlete for his height who can dunk on anyone while also being a versatile defender, he also has the ability to create his own shot at the rim or from the perimeter. Dak is also efficient at the rim and had a lot of big games for Colorado including a 20/4/2 game against Iowa State and a 19/8/8 game against Cincinnati.

"'Shedeur's biggest problem in college was running backward and taking sacks.' We've heard this repeated so many times in the media so now any time he gets sacked once, everyone thinks it was 5 sacks for -50 yards." Since Shedeur Sanders became the Browns starting quarterback, taking sacks has not been a problem. He still has one of the lowest pressure-to-sack ratios in the NFL (14.6). The bigger concern is the turnovers. Sanders has 8 interceptions in 5.5 games. True, some of those are not his fault (thanks, Jerry Jeudy). But limiting turnovers should still be Sanders' area of focus, which it undoubtedly is. It's also not uncommon for a rookie QB to have a high turnover rate and low touchdown numbers: - Trevor Lawrence had 8 INT in his first 5 career games - Josh Allen had just 10 TD to 12 INT his rookie season - Drake Maye threw at least 1 pick in 8/13 games last year (finished with 15 TD and 10 INT) - Bryce Young finished with 11 TD and 10 INT as a rookie And these guys were all first-round picks or even No. 1 overall picks.

Man, we used to be SPOILED with such amazing power forwards in the league. Chris Webber was such a SPECIAL talent. He doesn’t get talked about enough, so I will do the talking 🗣️🗣️🗣️ He was ahead of his time because he could pass, he had a 3 point shot (he was shooting 40%+ from three early in his career but not taking many), and he could drive to the basket- in an era where a lot of power forwards didn’t really have a perimeter game. He was a top 10 power forward in the league for most of his career and a top 5 power forward for a long time too. Keep in mind that was in an era where he was matching up with Garnett, Tim Duncan, Nowitzki, Rasheed Wallace, and late-career Karl Malone. He played against many of the all time great PFs and held his own🔥

This was Brock Purdy's best game. Not from a box score standpoint, but he ran out of countless sacks and bailed the offense out on third down numerous times. Some of his best decisions were throwaways. He had 7 throwaways in the game, matching his season total. It wasn't a great game for the 49ers WRs or the running game. That meant Purdy would need to make plays while playing within himself on obvious passing downs. He did. On 3rd & 5 or longer, from the two-minute drill on, Purdy went 6-for-8 with five first downs and a TD in a windy road game vs. a top 5 passing defense. Here are 5 of those third down throws. Quality bounce back after last week.
