Joris has spoken for himself and his work. Will @Forestvanslyke now offer an apology, delete their tweets & scrap their book (considering it has the same content)? Now, you no longer have a black to tokenise & deflect criticisms of your racism.

One thing about me though, I’m not for coddling racists 🤷🏾♀️

IMO there is no anti-racism without ‘call out culture’ Our ancestors didn’t kindly ask the slavers for freedom, they revolted. They fought. They marched. And they definitely called racists out. I will scream loudly in the streets about racism if I have to. Name me a group of oppressed peoples in history who won their freedom w/ kind words & ‘calling in’? I’ll wait. Otherwise, fantastic vid from Joris.

@forestvanslyke 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 I hope he didn't take it personally when I said nobody "gaf about Joris" 😂 I had no idea who he was and all I knew was that if what Forest claimed he said was true, I wouldn't have been a fan of his. I'm so happy to see him clear this shit up himself!!! WOOOO JORIS!

Me too 😭

@forestvanslyke I don’t think there’s any words to describe how happy I am to see their viewpoint on this. And frankly. I found this to be EXTREMELY informative. Thankyou for posting this so that it appeared on my feed ❤️because I wouldn’t have found it otherwise

And called them out for the "we're only disabled bc of society" part !! I'm in this vid I didn't expect that

@forestvanslyke ohhh the way I was snapping thru this whole vid 🥰

@forestvanslyke watching this in bed but mentally i’m doing a standing ovation. his response is exactly what we all needed and were trying to explain to them. i wonder if now they’ll actually listen and take the time to do the work.. or just dismiss Joris as well.

@forestvanslyke Forest's argument didn't even really make sense to me. I'm a white autistic person. Since autism is an invisible disability (it's disabling for me, so I use that term) I'm not judged at first glance, as black and brown people often are. I think that's a pretty large difference!
