José explains how AGI changes the case for crypto. "I think AGI is overall a net negative for crypto in that it pulls away capital, pulls away interest... And I think the other two, multipolarization and debt and demographics, are positive for crypto."

agi pulls capital but multipolarization is the real bid, everyone sleeping on fragmentation as a catalyst

Feels like AI has already taken a huge share of crypto’s capital and attention. If you were investing in a project right now, would you pick AI or crypto?

Disagree that capital follows attention linearly. AGI pulling mindshare toward compute doesn't drain money from permissionless settlement rails. It funnels it into a world that needs them more

agi net negative for crypto...... interesting. my take: agents running strategies at machine speed turn every human into exit liquidity. but agents also need trustless money between each other — that's literally crypto's job. the question is which side eats first

Near term, yes. AGI eats the marginal dollar and attention. But agents paying for compute, data and APIs are a cleaner stablecoin use case than chasing another billion human wallets.

o AGI não muda a tese do BTC, só acelera quem já entendeu que escassez programada vence impressão infinita. o capital que "sai" volta diferente, mais rápido, menos paciente. 🧠⚡
