🩷 : I bought a self-improvement book about how to get better at talking to people. I’m really not good at making conversation, especially with people I’m not close to. The version of me around my friends and my fans is exactly the same, but when I’m around other people, I’m actually not very good at making conversation. I was talking with my friends about a conversation I had with a celebrity I follow on social media, even though we’re not close. My friend was like, “Why didn’t you keep the conversation going?” and I replied, “Wait, really? I supposed to do that right?” It probably makes me seem stuck-up, but honestly, I’m just scared. That’s how life works. It’s not like I can live my life and talk to every single one of you in the exact same way. It’s normal,choices are made based on the situations that come up. Anyone who’s mentally healthy understands this and tries to build a human relationship with me in some way. But those who aren’t healthy think, “Well, why does she talk to her and not to me?” But I can’t talk to everyone. Even though I try to do it in my own way, if I started talking to every single one of you, my life would obviously be over. And I think that applies to anyone who has a community or a group of people who follow them. So then this thing came out about me going to Disneyland. But, holy crap, as they say, maybe! Maybe I would go to Disneyland! And even if I did go to Disneyland, it’s none of your fucking business if I want to go to Disneyland. What the fuck do you care if I want to go to Disneyland? It’s my business. Also, I haven’t been to Disneyland in 18 years, last time was with a friend from high school. But even then, it’s still my business if I want to go with whomever I want: if I’m dating someone or not, if I want to go with a friend, if I want to go with a fan I choose from among you. Is it my business or not? I mean, is everything okay with you people? And then, what the fuck does it change for you? Do you appreciate me for who I am? Good. Appreciate me for who I am and for what I do, not for who I’m with or where I go. Sometimes it feels like I’m talking to a jealous girlfriend. But I already, normally, believe me, don’t get involved with certain people, or a certain type of person, because jealousy and unresolved issues really bother me. Let me explain better. Let’s say I get into a relationship. My partner should never make jealousy scenes. You want to go to Disneyland with your friends? Go. Don’t go. What do I care? That’s your business. It’s great that our paths cross and we have a beautiful, loving life together, but that doesn’t erase my other relationships or my other bonds. Sometimes, with some people in this community, it feels like I’m dating them, like they think I’m their girlfriend. That’s not normal. You’re fanatics, you’re not well. So it’s actually a good thing if you don’t come to the meetups I organize. I even send you a kiss and bye-bye, good riddance, because you’re not right in the head. Anyway, what was I saying… maybe I’d really like to go to Disneyland, but honestly I don’t even have the head for Disneyland anymore. I’ve got other stuff going on in my brain, as they say, and for now I prefer working over going to Disneyland. Also, instead of Disneyland, I would’ve preferred the Maldives, if we really want to say it. Or at least the sea, one way or another. I started freelancing before i knew what it meant and across all platforms I’ve made over $200k All i do is listen to the good people on the internet and build my way through the pains, I’m gradually finding it comfortable to share my wins too. If you are scared, I was too If you don’t know what you are doing, I still don’t know what I’m doing as well If you don’t know where to start, I started on facebook (you can start from anywhere) If you don’t know what to start with, I started with a dead desktop computer I revived in the office where i did my SIWES If you think you need helper, well, i didn’t have one, i even sponsored myself through school with the money i made from doing casual work at Dangote salt company NASCON Maybe your current situation is worse than mine was, but i’m a living testimony that you can start from where you’re with what you have and you will still turn out fine.

🐶 i actually asked the company staff about this today.. i asked them, “are artists not allowed to use the word streaming? is it something we’re not supposed to say?” and they told me, “it’s not that you can’t say it, it’s just that artists don’t usually use that kind of wording.” so i was like, “it’s not that i’m trying to tell them what to do, i just want to thank them for streaming.. then how am i supposed to say it?” and they told me that i can say it if i want, so that’s why i’m saying it now. 🐶 🙏 thank you, everyone. thank you so much for doing it. thank you from the bottom of my heart 🙇🏻

🐿️ as a build up (towards trying to live in patterns i haven’t lived in before), i feel like in the k-pop scene, you can’t just do it with music 🐿️ no matter how good you are, people need to know who you are, they have to have heard you somewhere to decide whether or not they’ll listen to more from you 🐿️ that’s why even with my solo variety show…it coming out because you guys were waiting for my content is about 60-70% of the reason and about 30-40% is to show who i am as a person 🐿️ when i do variety shows…variety shows are still difficult for me so i used to rely on the members a lot, on soobin & beomgyu 🐿️ i’m good at things like interviews, i can confidently say that i’m the one that’s good at interviews because i have firmly have something on my mind and i’m not someone that has a hard time expressing that in words…in words? in sentences. so those things are really fun to me 🐿️ but it’s not easy for interviews to be known externally because they’re not like variety shows 🐿️ of course our moas watch it, and i’m really grateful for that. moas watch it and go “ah they said that~” but if you’re not (a moa) then you wouldn’t know 🐿️ that’s why i’m been trying to put in effort into that aspect as well

YoungK’s thought about “what i want to do vs what i’m good at” 🦊my original mindset was “i can do what i want on my own time”. so i focused on doing what i had to do. but then because i kept living like that i almost forgot what i actually wanted 🦊there’s a big difference between what i want to do and what i’m good at. so now i’ve also lost track of what i’m even good at. but because i keep doing what i needed to do, i got good at it. that’s why i actually recommend sticking with what you need to do.
