🩷 : I bought a self-improvement book about how to get better at talking to people. I’m really not good at making conversation, especially with people I’m not close to. The version of me around my friends and my fans is exactly the same, but when I’m around other people, I’m actually not very good at making conversation. I was talking with my friends about a conversation I had with a celebrity I follow on social media, even though we’re not close. My friend was like, “Why didn’t you keep the conversation going?” and I replied, “Wait, really? I supposed to do that right?” It probably makes me seem stuck-up, but honestly, I’m just scared. Now, you all know very well that there are people among you who help me, whom I absolutely welcome and appreciate a lot, actually, probably more than what they even give me. And as a result, I do have a human, working relationship that goes beyond just being a fan, right? So of course, in certain circumstances, because of specific skills people have and the kind of help they give, it’s obvious that more conversations start happening and a more developed human relationship begins, beyond a simple… you know. That’s how life works. It’s not like I can live my life and talk to every single one of you in the exact same way. It’s normal,choices are made based on the situations that come up. Anyone who’s mentally healthy understands this and tries to build a human relationship with me in some way. But those who aren’t healthy think, “Well, why does she talk to her and not to me?” But I can’t talk to everyone. Even though I try to do it in my own way, if I started talking to every single one of you, my life would obviously be over. And I think that applies to anyone who has a community or a group of people who follow them. So then this thing came out about me going to Disneyland. But, holy crap, as they say, maybe! I started freelancing before i knew what it meant and across all platforms I’ve made over $200k All i do is listen to the good people on the internet and build my way through the pains, I’m gradually finding it comfortable to share my wins too. If you are scared, I was too If you don’t know what you are doing, I still don’t know what I’m doing as well If you don’t know where to start, I started on facebook (you can start from anywhere) If you don’t know what to start with, I started with a dead desktop computer I revived in the office where i did my SIWES If you think you need helper, well, i didn’t have one, i even sponsored myself through school with the money i made from doing casual work at Dangote salt company NASCON Maybe your current situation is worse than mine was, but i’m a living testimony that you can start from where you’re with what you have and you will still turn out fine.

🐶 i actually asked the company staff about this today.. i asked them, “are artists not allowed to use the word streaming? is it something we’re not supposed to say?” and they told me, “it’s not that you can’t say it, it’s just that artists don’t usually use that kind of wording.” so i was like, “it’s not that i’m trying to tell them what to do, i just want to thank them for streaming.. then how am i supposed to say it?” and they told me that i can say it if i want, so that’s why i’m saying it now. 🐶 🙏 thank you, everyone. thank you so much for doing it. thank you from the bottom of my heart 🙇🏻

🐿️ as a build up (towards trying to live in patterns i haven’t lived in before), i feel like in the k-pop scene, you can’t just do it with music 🐿️ no matter how good you are, people need to know who you are, they have to have heard you somewhere to decide whether or not they’ll listen to more from you 🐿️ that’s why even with my solo variety show…it coming out because you guys were waiting for my content is about 60-70% of the reason and about 30-40% is to show who i am as a person 🐿️ when i do variety shows…variety shows are still difficult for me so i used to rely on the members a lot, on soobin & beomgyu 🐿️ i’m good at things like interviews, i can confidently say that i’m the one that’s good at interviews because i have firmly have something on my mind and i’m not someone that has a hard time expressing that in words…in words? in sentences. so those things are really fun to me 🐿️ but it’s not easy for interviews to be known externally because they’re not like variety shows 🐿️ of course our moas watch it, and i’m really grateful for that. moas watch it and go “ah they said that~” but if you’re not (a moa) then you wouldn’t know 🐿️ that’s why i’m been trying to put in effort into that aspect as well

It’s not your choice. If you hear the call, you’ve been called to serve. That’s it. It’s not a pact. You’ve literally been called to serve. Your life’s never going to be the same again. I was praying, and I heard the call. It was very clear. The call is different for everyone, but for me, it was like: “The world is yours to behold if you can abscond from your temporal inclinations.” Okay, I know what that means. It was not a choice. My entire life changed from that moment. From that moment on, I never thought about video games or Fridays or the weekend—or women—ever the same way again. I would like to have a partner, to love someone and take on the world together, but I never thought about the world the same way again. So a lot of people don’t understand me. People chase me all the time. I’m not interested in that. I turn people down all the time. I’m not being rude; I just don’t want that. I live to serve. Okay, imagine what it would come down to if I tried to be in the life of every person who wanted me to be intimate with them. I cannot do that. I’m meant to help people. If I was just in one person’s life, I’d have commitments to them and their family—and to my family—that would inhibit me from serving, and I can’t do that. I’m married to the cause: my cause, my principles, and the work that I do. And so it’s not... It’s just that people misunderstand—and will misunderstand—how disciplined I am. I’m not sure why I’m even posting anymore. At first it was out of spite to prove something to myself. Then it was about maybe getting monitized, then the shadow ban pretty much ruined that. I don’t want attention. I definitely don’t want your DMs, I ignore 99% of them. Most of the comments I get, as a straight man, don’t do anything for me. I’m antisocial AF so what the fuck am I even doing this for? Oh wait… I think it’s to boost my insecure, fragile male ego, yeah that’s it.

YoungK’s thought about “what i want to do vs what i’m good at” 🦊my original mindset was “i can do what i want on my own time”. so i focused on doing what i had to do. but then because i kept living like that i almost forgot what i actually wanted 🦊there’s a big difference between what i want to do and what i’m good at. so now i’ve also lost track of what i’m even good at. but because i keep doing what i needed to do, i got good at it. that’s why i actually recommend sticking with what you need to do.
