This is an all time great meme

So this is an interesting wrinkle

@TalkinBaseball_ No one tell Josh he has a lower OPS than Hedges right now

“No one likes you.” Is the worst insult, because you’ll be at home hours or days later thinking about that like, damn does no one like me? 😂

That’s my World Series catcher

Auto-take when your teammate is stealing so you don’t foul the pitch off and send him back to first base.

So when Naylor said “You’re a back up to a back up” did he mean his brother who started over Hedges early in the year but couldn’t even hit .200?

@AmyHarber i get nalor is a pest and thats his role, but he is such a sorry ass player. sticking out your elbow on a curveball to get on base and then chirping the way there and at first is such a bitch move.

@TalkinBaseball_ Naylor is exactly what the Mariners needed. Julio and Cal are the nice guys, he gives them the edgy player that every winning team needs

“You’re so tough…” not tired

its tired

Why tired? Super lame comeback haha

@Jomboy_ It’s a knock against Naylor for the playoff run in 2024. He was abysmal and a lot of it was attributed to his playing shape aka being lazy and tired.

@Jomboy_ It’s also rumored around Cleveland that Josh was a lazy alcoholic who did not take that season very seriously. I can see why’d there be some tension.

@Jomboy_ Thanks for the insight my man. Naylor is a dope player to watch, imo.

Nobody likes you This isn’t junior high

Not sure what the issue is here. Just typical ball player shit talking between old teammates.

One is a World Series champion, one isn’t. And Hedges is an awesome person.

@TalkinBaseball_ Funnier since Josh’s brother was a catcher with hedges and sucked so bad that he got dfa’d

You’d be surprise how many players are what we call at the field friends and that’s as far as it goes

It’s funny because he has had none of those issues since he came to a team & a city that embraced him. He’s a treasure in Seattle!

@TalkinBaseball_ Josh is probably salty his brother is ass and will never play with the organization again

@TalkinBaseball_ Hedges actively has a higher ops and is actually likeable/sane

Did not expect a Chinua Achebe reference but kudos on that one!

@TalkinBaseball_ I love the “spend less on your kids” I died laughing 🤣

Royals fan here. The second I saw him play for Cleveland I knew I didn’t not like Josh Naylor at all. Bo is a good guy but you can tell Josh is a miserable POs

Is Naylor the fattest MLB player currently?

Hedges is not wrong, no one likes Naylor

@desertdawg The really funny part about this is Hedgie has been a better baseball player than Naylor this season.

Naylor is like 30 yet has the antics of a toddler learning to play baseball for the first time. Such a tired act from this guy. He and Hedges were teammates in SD so for Austin to think this of him speaks volumes.

Basically how fans felt when jazz got hurt and he was taken out. Everyone celebrated punk ass bitch

“dang.. I got no come back to that”

“Nobody likes you” is what millennial women shriek at each other late night at the bar. 😂

@TalkinBaseball_ Patrick Bailey sighting.

U broke this down the way i look at rap beef lol. Bravo

Naylor is not wrong, Hedges does need a map to get to first base

Austin Hedges could be a starter on the Yankees

@WxShaw A third string catcher that has his AAAA little brothers job

@TalkinBaseball_ This is a nothing burger. That pitch was coming right at Naylor, I would’ve gotten hit intentionally by that curveball also and Naylor was trying to play it off. Naylor knows what he was doing. Hedges got caught up in the moment and should’ve let it be. Weak by Hedges.
