Shortly after Justice Swarnkanta’s elevation to the High Court in 2022, he was empanelled on Central Government panels in 2023. Within just 5–6 years of his career, he was assigned 5,904 cases between 2023 and 2025, an extraordinarily high number that places him among the top ten counsels in terms of case allocations, out of nearly 700 panel counsels in the Supreme Court. In contrast, many others take years to reach such a position and may receive as little as a single case in an entire year. This also carries significant financial benefits. With a per-docket appearance fee of ₹9,000, the total earnings could exceed ₹5 crore in just two years, given the volume of cases assigned. Terrifying Murder Case in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh. A retired railway employee allegedly killed his live-in partner, dismembered her body and attempted to destroy the evidence in a horrifying manner. According to police, The accused, Ram Singh, a retired railway staffer with two wives, was living with a woman named (3rd wife) Preeti in a live-in relationship. On January 8, 2026, he reportedly murdered her. He hid the body, wrapped it, and then placed it in a blue metal box that he had prepared in advance. The accused burnt the body inside the box and tried to dispose of the remains, even throwing the ashes into a river to destroy evidence. To hide the crime further, he had his son and others deliver the box to his second wife’s home. It was during transport that the driver became suspicious, leading to police getting involved. When police opened the box, it contained charred bone fragments and human remains. The main suspect is currently at large.

Today at this age he's making rounds of the court because his flat has been illegally occupied by a so-called educated lady who's not paying him rent and on the contrary has filed a case of harassment against him. Imagine, if there had been a woman in place of Malvinder Singh ji, what a great “social reformer” we would have been becoming today. We thank the Court because it was extremely distressing that a powerful MLA of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly raped a poor minor girl...(in 2017). After that, her father was also killed, her lawyer was murdered, and despite all this, his jail sentence was reduced, with the claim that he had already served six years and could be released... We thank our Supreme Court for stopping this injustice and restoring justice before it could prevail.”

When a British court asked Udham Singh his name after he avenged the Jallianwala Bagh massacre, he declared: “Ram Mohammad Singh Azad.” Today, those echoes of secular resistance resonate through Deepak Kumar of Kotdwar, who stood before a mob and proudly said, “Mohammad Deepak.” As divisive forces threaten our social fabric, Deepak’s courage in shielding an elderly Muslim shopkeeper embodies the hope India needs. His act is a living testament to the Fraternity and Equality enshrined in our Constitution. As a Member of Parliament, it is my bounden duty to uphold the Constitution and stand with those who live its values. I traveled to Kotdwar to convey Kerala’s solidarity to Deepak, his friend Vijay, and his brave mother. And of course the victim , Baba Mohammed. I’m saddened to state that Speaker GURPREET SANDHWAN misused the vital platform of Vidhan Sabha to settle personal scores with one ASI Bohar Singh seeking mandate of the assembly to seek report from DGP Punjab as to why the said ASI has not been arrested despite a PC ACT case against him in PS Kotkapura his hometown! The reality of this personal enmity stands exposed in video below where the brother of Speaker (Birdevinder Singh) is heard hurling abuses on the ASI besides threatening him with dire consequences which resulted in the corruption case against the ASI Bohar Singh! The vital question now is that is personal enmity of Speaker Sandhwan more important in Vidhan Sabha or the pending issues of justice in Beadbi and prosecution sanction in the Dera head case or action against officers for facilitating interview of gangster Lawerence Bishnoi in police custody or agriculture policy as demanded by farmers or Buddha-Nullah issue polluting waters of Punjab etc etc? I urge GURPREET SANDHWAN Speaker to tender an apology for misusing Vidhan Sabha for his personal whims & fancies-Khaira Congress Punjab Congress
