@wellingtonkuva1 Under normal circumstances headmasters should be the ones giving back to the community from their salaries. By right headmasters should be earning 3000 usd per month. But then it's Zimbabwe.

I hope @ChrisEcxel102 doesn't see this one.

Well, I guess the headmasters deserve whatever shitty life they are living. Like WTF?

So this is what our teachers have been reduced to, seriously?!!! This is very very sad indeed. Teachers are supposed to receive wages enough to be able to buy their own blankets and not be treated like charity cases! Nyika iyi iri kurwadza mhani!

Ah? Tsitsitsitsitsitsitsi

No wonder the pass rate is going down.

So headmasters are now dancing for mere blankets!. In the 80s headmasters bought houses in low density suburbs and also bought good cars

Mockery of the highest order. It is only in a banana republic where you find civil servants like school headmasters dancing in celebration after being donated blankets by a ministry. These are professionals who, under a functional and dignified system, should be able to buy such basic essentials on their own—and even donate to the less privileged in their communities. Instead, they are reduced to celebrating handouts. Because of the policies and failures of Emmerson Mnangagwa and ZANU-PF, the dignity of citizens has been stripped away. What should be ordinary necessities are turned into spectacles of charity, forcing hardworking people to rejoice over the bare minimum. This is not empowerment. It is a tragic reflection of how governance has normalized poverty while presenting crumbs as generosity.

Teachers are simple people, next time give them chalks.

Is Zimbabwe still a country 😭😭

Is this a joke?

@MaiZuKitchen Sad. Really sad. How do we trust our children to people who dance for a blanket?

This illustrates how psychologically damaged we are as #Zimbabwe. A Teacher dancing kongonya after getting a blanket. This simply means a teacher cannot afford a blanket. The big question should be Why? 🤔

Reverend Ndabanining Sithole must be turning in his grave @mukokwapashata1 @sunduzawekanyi @rmus05 Ndadhana inini 😳🙆

Headmasters dancing for blankets😭😭😭

Oh finish ....

@drDendere This is ED's fault

@ZdvNap Headmasters can't afford to buy a blanket. This is cruel.

🙄This is not normal its rubbish. What did their schools get, how well are their schools resourced and are the buildings/facilities what you would excpect in 2026? Honestly our bar as zimbos is very very low, its in the gutter. Blankets!?

@MaiZuKitchen OMG! Headmasters dancing for blankets from Zanu-pf?? Nyika yaparara!

When someone makes the decision to go and hand over blankets to people, they're definitely saying, THESE PEOPLE CAN'T AFFORD BLANKETS BECAUSE THEY'RE PAUPERS. Why would teachers be so poor under this regime? @ZANUPF_Official @KMutisi @nickmangwana

Side effect of Socialist / Communist policies , people end up so poor that anything they get from the gvt is a favor. All dignity is eroded.

Eish, is this what we have gone this far, kutambira gumbeze here vakomana!!

😂😂

Zimbo’s 🤣🤣

@ZdvNap If a school head, such an important figure in every community is to dance when donated a blanket what evidence do you want about a failed state. Moreso it tell us the quality of education for the country. Lord Jesus

May South Africa never reach this level 🙏

Kuti varare pa basa

Our headmasters, cry for joy after receiving blankets which cost, $20. cry my beloved country

I don’t know of any other country that does this nonsense

this is an indictment to every child whose parents are being paraded and tokenised for the blankets.. let us normalise taking care of our own parents and avoid them being fodder for cheap politicking!!!
