He’s right . Last year he excelled in the playoffs against teams that weren’t good at defense. He struggled when they played the Celtics in the Finals. Nuggets weren’t good at D, Memphis was a revolving door on defense outside of JJJ, and the Mavs were bad on D.

Last year was a contract year, this year it wasn't. He already got the bag. Some players are just like that after landing a huge contract. SMH 🤷🏽‍♂️
