🛎 JUST IN: Catholic Americans Plead for Religious Freedom: Urging the US Bishops that serve on the Panel and the Trump Administration to Reinstate Carrie Prejean Boller to the Religious Liberty Commission 👇 ..................................................... Last week, Carrie Prejean Boller was removed from the White House’s Religious Liberty Commission for defending her beliefs as a Catholic. While affirming the natural right of Israel to exist, she correctly articulated that Zionism, the belief that we have a Biblical mandate to support the 1948 State of Israel is not a teaching of the Catholic Church. Furthermore, while all Catholics condemn anti-semitism, which is simply hatred of Jews, anti-zionism is NOT the same as anti-semitism. Catholics for Catholics 🇺🇲 is asking the Trump Administration for a confirmation of Carrie’s role on the commission. We make this urgent appeal in the name of religious freedom. Religious freedom, while not a moral license to adhere to error, is a natural inalienable right of the human person to act in conscience and freedom immune from external coercion in religious matter by individuals, or civil authorities. We are asking now that the Religious Liberty Commission respect the Religious Liberty of what Catholics believe. As Catholics we also make a special plea to the Catholic bishops who are on this panel: Cardinal Dolan Bishop Robert Barron Archbishop Salvatore J. Cordileone Bishop Thomas Paprocki and Bishop Kevin Rhoades. As the issue which caused the heated discussion resulting in Carrie's removal was theological in nature albeit with severe political consequences, all the more reason we are urging our Bishops, whose role it is to guide us in the Faith, to speak up in Carrie's defense. If we are wrong in our interpretation of the Catholic teaching on Zionism, then we’ll humbly accept their correction. We took the time to send each of these Bishops a private letter respectfully asking that they intercede. We continue to eagerly wait for their response and earnestly beg that they do not remain on the sidelines. FULL STORY:

🛎BREAKING: Catholics for Catholics Stands Strong Behind Carrie Prejean Boller Announces “Catholic Champion Award” For Her Defense of the Catholic Faith!🛎 🙏To be given at Upcoming “Catholic Prayer for America” Gala in Washington DC – March 19🙏 FULL STORY: Yesterday, February 11, Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick announced the removal of Carrie Prejean Boller from President Donald Trump’s Religious Liberty Commission. Carrie, a Catholic convert and former Miss California USA, sparked an intense debate at the recent commission hearing when she rooted her rejection of Zionism in her Catholic faith. The backlash she has received has been fierce. Politics is always downstream from religion. While Catholics acknowledge that the 1948 State of Israel has a NATURAL right to exist on at least part of the Holy Land, pushing a false “Biblical Mandate” to support its domination of the entire Holy Land is neither Catholic, nor in America’s interests. Tragically, this theological error has often been used to justify both, horrific crimes against our Christian Palestinian brethren, and catastrophic foreign policy decisions by American leaders. Nor does recognizing this truth require us to turn a blind eye to the dangers of radical Islam, whose tenets are not only incompatible with the Christian foundations of the West, but continue to inspire violence against it. Of course as Catholics, Antisemitism — hatred of Jews — is wrong. But so is equivocating resisting "Zionism” with hatred of Jews. This is what my fellow Catholic Carrie Prejean Boller so boldly stood for on the panel for Religious Liberty. Given the importance of understanding the problem with Zionism which is religious in nature yet with grave political implications for America my team has put together a comprehensive statement you can read it here. FULL STATEMENT: The Catholic View on Zionism and the 1948-State of Israel – By Catholics for Catholics In a few weeks, Catholics for Catholics will host our third annual “Catholic Prayer for America” Gala in Washington, DC on March 19th. We will be assembling hundreds of Catholic leaders from around the nation to gather in prayer - since prayer is the best weapon we have in our fight for America. As is custom we have chosen a few individuals who have stood out for their patriotism and defense of the Catholic faith. As I watched my sister in Christ getting attacked from all sides along with the silence from those who should be protecting her, we made a decision. After speaking with her for the first time last night, I am happy to announce that I have invited Carrie Prejean Boller to attend our event and receive one of our “Catholic Champion” Awards in recognition of her courageous defense of the Faith. We were honored to receive her acceptance. PRAYER GALA INFO: This is what Catholics for Catholics does. When one of our own is out there bravely trying to stand up for what is right and is getting attacked, rest assured we won’t sit back. We are a movement of faithful patriots that back frontline warriors like Carrie, who love God and the USA with the power of our Catholic faith. God Bless You and God Bless America! “Oscar, let's start with you. What a season you've had. Your third season in Formula 1. 7 wins, 16 podiums, 3rd in the Drivers’ standings. Give us your thoughts. How do you reflect on 2025?” Oscar: “A season of ups and downs, I think. Firstly, it's good to see everybody again. It's been a while since I've seen you all. So, good to see you all again. But yeah, a season of ups and downs and I think, you know, history will remember this season as one of the most dominant in Formula 1. 14 wins, the most podiums for any team in a season. I think the second team to score over 800 points as well. Andrea Stella: “He’s prepared.” Oscar: “Yeah. But I think only the people in this room know all of the emotions that went into this year. Not just the stats. All the hard work, the pride, the disappointment at times, the frustration, the intensity. What else is there? The determination we had, the relentlessness, and I think the enjoyment and the happiness that's come from this season. So, thank you very much for all of that. I think this year's been pretty tiring at points. And I think it's worn us pretty thin. Not quite as thin as our planks in Las Vegas, however. We can laugh about it now. But it's been a great season. It's been a lot of fun to be a part of. And, I just wanted to thank you all very much for the opportunity to fight for a world championship, for both of us to fight for a world championship. And yeah, congratulations for the final time this year. World champions.”

To the Fulshear Charger Family, As I sit down to reflect on this season, my heart swells with pride and gratitude. This year marked a significant milestone for our program – it was the first time our coaching staff had the privilege of guiding a full class from start to finish. Watching these young men grow, both on and off the field, has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. Our last game was a tough loss, but it was also a testament to the spirit and determination of this team. Facing a nationally ranked opponent, our Chargers fought valiantly until the very last second. Their performance was the epitome of what it means to be a Fulshear Charger – resilient, dedicated, and unwavering in the face of adversity. There were so many standout moments this season. Beating Pearland in the first week of the year, driving 98 yards to seal the game, and our defense getting a goal line stop as time expired. Winning district for three years straight. Going three rounds deep to the regional semifinals in our first year in 6A football. These moments are a testament to the hard work and dedication of our players and coaches. To our seniors, thank you for your leadership and for setting a standard of excellence. You have laid a strong foundation for future Chargers to build upon. To the underclassmen, your journey is just beginning, and I am excited to see how you will continue to uphold and elevate the legacy of this program. I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the parents, the coaches, the kids, and the community for rallying behind what Fulshear football is. You all drank the Kool-Aid we sold four years ago, with just a hint of crazy, and it has made all the difference. Here’s to the memories we’ve made, the lessons we’ve learned, and the bright future ahead. Once a Charger, always a Charger. With heartfelt gratitude, I LOVE YOU

🚨Candace Owens FULL Speech From "Catholics For Catholics" Event 2024—The Moment Candace REALIZED Politics Was Just a Distraction 🏹⛪ During last years "Catholics For Catholics" event, Candace describes her "immersion therapy" into Catholicism not as a soft transition, but as a military-grade operation. The Highlights of the Journey: The Spartan Pilgrimage: 65 miles in three days. Candace describes the "French Boy Scouts" leading the march like a military unit, chanting Latin prayers from 5 AM until 8 PM. The Breaking Point: At mile 22, in the pouring rain and mud, Candace admits she nearly quit. Her husband’s response? "Could you imagine doing this in full armor in medieval times?" 🛡️😂 The "Christ is King" Backlash: Candace reflects on the "demonic" reaction to her viral three-word tweet. "I’ve never seen anything like it... only a demon reacts like that to a simplistic truth." The Celebrity Trap: She realizes her platform isn't hers—it’s a "megaphone" for a higher purpose. "If you want to be a celebrity, don't become Catholic. Go start a fashion line." (A subtle nod to the "influencer" culture she’s now exposing?). The Philosophy: "To become a student of history is to become a Catholic." 📜 Candace explains how she realized that much of "public school history" was an intentional attack on the Church. This realization is what gave her the courage to walk away from the "comfortable" political life and start asking the dangerous questions that led us to where we are today. 🕊️⚖️

WATCH: Texas Governor Greg Abbott to a journalist demanding he find out “who is to blame” for the deadly Texas floods... “You ask — I'm going to use your words. ‘Who's to blame?’ Know this: That's the word choice of losers. Let me explain one thing about Texas, and that is Texas — every square inch of our state cares about football. You can be in Hunt, Texas. Huntsville, Texas. Houston, Texas. Any size community. They care about football, high school, Friday night lights, college football, or pro and know this: Every football team makes mistakes. The losing teams are the ones that try to point out who's to blame. The championship teams are the ones that say, don't worry about it, man, we got this. We're going to make sure that we go score again and we're going to win this game. The way winners talk is not to point fingers. They talk about solutions. What Texas is all about is solutions. In fact, I want to read you something that I received last night that's worth emphasizing to put this in context: “Tragedy has come. That part is done. What we do now, who we are now, that's what the story is still being written. Let it be one of grace, of grit, of fierce love in the face of grief. Let it be the kind of story that proves that the Hill Country may flood, but it does not fail. Say what you will about Texas, but when the rivers rise, so do we. Not with blame, not with bitterness, but with boots on the ground, arms around strangers and hearts wide open. That's the Texas I know. And that's the America that I believe in.’ What this person wrote is what I know is true for all Texans and what we will achieve every single day.”

Just Sasha❤️ “I would like to start by saying that what is happening in Greece is sad, and I believe that each of us, from the position we hold, has a responsibility to speak up. Because how long will innocent lives keep being lost just because someone doesn’t like the jersey another person is wearing or the team they support? Then we go to the stadiums and everyone says “let this be the last time,” we all hold a minute of silence, and then it happens again—why? We have experienced this many times in recent years. A mother waits at home for her child to return, and he never comes back. A mother loses her child because he simply went to do this. Until when will it be a problem what jersey someone wears, which team someone supports, where someone can walk, and what they are allowed to say? We live in the most beautiful country in the world. All of us have a responsibility, each from our own position, to protect sport. Sport is for these children you see here. It is meant to unite people, to fill stadiums and arenas so that we can all enjoy ourselves. The reality is that one team will win and another will lose. One year someone will be doing well, the next year they may not be. Not everyone can win. But the issue is not victory or defeat—the issue is understanding how long young people will continue to lose their lives in the name of the team they support. I don’t know who needs to intervene. I don’t know what needs to be done. I am not the person responsible. I simply felt that I had to say this because we truly play basketball for the people. We want people in the arenas, we want them full—fans of our team and of the others as well. But it is sad and unfair, and everyone needs to reflect on their responsibilities. How much longer? We are in 2026, and this has been happening for 40 years, from what I have read and what I know. At some point, all of this must stop. I wanted to say it because it is truly sad and unfair.“ #vezenkov #olympiacosbc #paobc #greece

Pressing, transitions and goals in Canada! After the hiring of Jesse Marsch this week by Canada Soccer , there has been lots of talk about pressing and transitions in the football community. This is THE style of play that we have used for the last 5 years with Alliance United FC in @L1OMens and will give you some insight in how this can look. We went away from the 'possession' based 1-4-3-3 that everyone has been using as the 'best way' to develop players and win games. Many say this is the 'right way' of playing. However, we use the players' abilities and inabilities as the starting point and based on players produced in Canada, within our youth system, this is the way we think will get us the best results and help our players get to the next level. You need to understand youth development in our country to understand what is and what is not being taught to young players. This is not a negative outlook, it is just looking at the reality. Many mistake this style of play as just non-stop pressing and chaos. Yes, these two aspects are important but it is a much more deliberate and planned way of playing that is used to predict where the opposition will play the ball, where the ball can be dictated and what areas the opposition leave open for transitions when they attack. In 2019, I was introduced to Ernst Tanner former Academy Director of Red Bull Salzburg and current Philadelphia Union Sporting Director that has led the club to being one of the top clubs in MLS and arguably the best academies in North America the last few years. Both organisations are known for their pressing and fast transitions in addition to producing top players. He became a mentor to me and gave me insights and education on this style of play. He has changed the way I look at football. Every season we try to recruit players that can play this style that I will describe below and we do not waiver in the way we played. Every game since 2019 Alliance United FC have played either in a 1-4-2-2-2 or a 1-4-4-2 midfield diamond....every game. We have no secrets in how we play. We focus on defending, pressing, forcing teams into mistakes and transition football. It is important to understand that we do not care how much possession we have and we actually want the opposition to have the ball most of the time. Stats in football show that only when a team has the ball 70% or more in a match their is a correlation to winning. Anything less is not correlated to winning in a certain match. In addition, 80% of goals are scored under 5 passes or less and under 10 seconds when regaining possession. We follow the trend! So, here are some important points based on the video: a) Pressing higher up the pitch when possible. All 11 players are committed to the team intention (principles) and if anybody is not committed and does not contribute to this style of play, they do not play. There is no leeway on this. Either you are in 100% in or you are not. All it takes is one player to not commit and the plan will not work. If we do not win the ball on the high press, everyone is to drop behind the ball as fast as possible to restart the press closer to our goal. b) Based on the opponent's scouting we press certain players and decide if will press closer to the sideline and 'pin' the player to the sideline or we dictate the passes and dribbles centrally and 'surround' the player to win the ball in central positions. We also decide if we will sometimes drop lower for the opposition to advance so we can play behind them when winning the ball. This is done if we scout that the opposition centre-backs are slower than our two strikers. This means we will 'outrun' them in the space they leave behind. c) When winning the ball we want to exploit space behind their backline as the priority which means that a player(s) need to be passing options behind the backline and preferably centrally which is closer to the goal, players winning the ball has to look to play the ball to the player furthest up the pitch. Possession is not a priority but scoring goals as fast as possible is. d) When winning the ball we stay as central as possible with passes and dribbling. We use the width of the penalty area (44 yards) as the preferable dimension when transitioning. We want to stay within this width. The wider the team plays the ball, the more time the opposition has to block the middle. PLAY AS VERTICALLY AS POSSIBLE! The emphasis is to get the ball to the two strikers and play 1v1 against the CBs. e) We know that most youth players grow up playing against a 1-4-3-3 which means there is one central striker meaning the centre-backs one back press and one can cover. Against 2 strikers this is not possible and many centre-backs do not have the ability to play 1v1 with space behind them. They are not taught the cues to step and press or drop to protect space behind them. They are never taught at youth level. We exploit this deficiency. e) All 11 players must get up the pitch to close the spaces if we lose the ball from our attacking transition so the opposition cannot transition against us and we can counter-press. f) A goal is the best outcome based on the objective of attacking but at the minimum we want to get a shot on goal from a transition. This is a quick overview of a different way of playing football that Canada will see with the Men's National Team.
