Come on man...that ball has to be caught 100/100 times at the big league level

@MetCastPod I don’t think he’s that terrible but that was a pretty routine play he made look a lot harder

That was the best catch I saw from him this year

No, he is properly rated. He is an average outfielder.

@MetCastPod He made a fairly routine catch look difficult. He didn’t need to jump.

Sure.

Wow he caught a routine flyball

No he isn’t lol

He definitely isn’t an issue in the field. Here and there he will jog to a ball that warrants more than a jog. Doesnt have an arm. Thats fine. Also would be fine if he was DH or 1B

The more you tweet, the more we see you don't know ball!

I watched him play in Washington before he was traded to the Padres (he was in RF at that time - same weekend Schwarber hit 4 homers against Mets pitching). He was so smooth, made easy plays look even easier, hard plays looked common. He’s better than he gets credit for.

He might be a little underrated? His problem playing on defense is, which is strange to for Soto? Is his inconsistency making plays out there, he can make some tough plays but then bot h an easy one.

You are drunk

Oh ok.

Agree

You really don’t know shit about baseball

sloppy play

I can’t wait to see him in a legit pennant race in a Mets uniform. We Need it like oxygen.

Is that wall one big electric LED screen?

Yikes. Lmao he’s the perfect Dh lol

99% catch probability

One of the worst fielders in baseball

Not really

He had no idea where he was, he was afraid of crashing into the wall with that little timid leap. A little leaguer makes that play

He was literally the worst outfielder in mlb last year. He is a better overall asset as DH.
