Labour Party Stakeholders Take Over Lagos Secretariat Following Supreme Court Verdict Find Shocking Discoveries Lagos, Nigeria – April 7, 2025 Stakeholders of the Labour Party in Lagos State have officially taken over the state secretariat following the recent Supreme Court judgement that sacked the party’s National Chairman, Julius Abure, along with state chairmen deemed to have been appointed without due process. The peaceful takeover of the secretariat marks a significant turning point for the party in Lagos, with stakeholders declaring a renewed commitment to transparency, unity, and accountability. However, what was expected to be a routine transition quickly took an unexpected turn, with several startling discoveries inside the office of the former State Chairperson, Pastor Dayo Ekong. During the transition process, the stakeholders made a shocking discovery, over 200 bags of rice, reportedly meant for party members and grassroots stakeholders, were found concealed in the office premises. I have seen many opposition parties losing to the BJP from 2014. RJD, SP, INC, SSUBT, NCP etc etc.... But I have never seen the people tease, taunt, jeer & mock the opposition leaders, members of the party and an Ex CM as much as the people of West Bengal did to Mamta Banerjee, Abhishek Banerjee and each and every karyakarta, politician, or MP/MLA of the TMC party. From making memes, dancing on bridges and in pubs, mocking them in front of their houses, making a playlist of File Chor, Pishi chor Vaipo Chor type of songs, cat calling Mamta Banerjee in the Supreme Court,to spitting on Abhishek Banerjee.... they did all to their hearts content and are still dancing and celebrating. This is what happens....when you intimidate and torture people into silence and submission for years. I can predict that after this freedom and new found valour, if Mahua Moitra goes asking for votes in the Lok Sabha elections, every MP candidate of the TMC including her, will get what she most likes to advertise.......Eggs !!
