A mother and her boyfriend have both been found guilty of murdering her daughter. 2 year old Isabelle Rose Welsh died of her injuries in hospital after emergency services were called to house following concerns for the welfare of a young child. Alexandra Walker, 26 & Harrison Simpson, 22, were both arrested and charged witn a Isabelle Rose Welsh death. They was both found guilty of murder after a 5 week trial. Simpson guilty of murder, sexual assault by penetration and child cruelty. Walker was found guilty of murder and child cruelty on Tuesday 28 July at Teesside Crown Court. Both to be sentenced on Thursday 30th of July

GUILTY: The Windhoek High Court earlier today found former police officer Vapeni Boois (37) guilty of murdering her one-year-old son, Amare Boois, whom she stabbed and buried face-down in a shallow grave near Bethanie in January 2023. She has also been found guilty of defeating the ends of justice. Amare died from multiple stab wounds to the neck, chest and abdomen, inflicted with such force that his liver was ruptured. High Court Judge Philanda Christiaan said the court was satisfied that the State had proven beyond reasonable doubt that Boois acted with intent to kill her son. REPORT: RITA KAKELO
