"O Canada... our home *on* native land." @JullyBlack 👏👏

@JullyBlack sorry, it is not anyone's place to inject THEIR politics into this forum. The anthem is already inclusive of ALL Canadians (and was even before our PM virtue signalled and changed some of the lyrics). This smacks of being nothing but performative for no apparent reason.

@JullyBlack Oh really? To which “indigenous community” is she referring? And who was there before them? The virtue signaling is nauseating.

@JullyBlack She speaks (sings) the truth. Our anthem was officially changed from “…*sons* command” to “…*us* command” to be more inclusive. Perhaps one day “…*and* native” will be officially replaced with “…*on* native land.” It would be a fitting way towards truth & reconciliation.

@JullyBlack You DONT sing OUR National Anthem with YOUR INTENTION. You sing OUR National Anthem the way it was written. Shame shame shame

@JullyBlack Maybe it’s not the individuals’ position to interpret the lyrics of the National Anthem.

@JullyBlack Who is she to decide!…

@JullyBlack It was NEVER their land Did she not get the memo?? Why DIVIDE us like this??? I used to like this singer...I will never look at her the same She FORGOT to travel the REST of Canada

@JullyBlack The lyrics have been re written over 130 years. The latest version passed legislation in 2018 to be gender inclusive. The meaning of the anthem is meant to be all inclusive. Changing "and" to "on" becomes divisive. "And" being inclusive to all.

@JullyBlack She's just another nauseating, virtue-signalling, cancel-culture woketopian.

@JullyBlack Can't wait for her inclusive rewrite of the bible. Please let me know when the it is available.
