July 3 – Lunch at 12:00 Punch was missing from the enclosure again. Surprisingly, both caretakers were present on duty, which means the claim that “one of them stays inside with him in the backyard” is not true. He was most likely locked outside with other monkeys. At 12:04,... show more

More information about Punch, the baby monkey at Ichikawa Zoo in Japan. He was abandoned by his mother shortly after birth and has been hand‑raised by zookeepers. They gave him a plush orangutan toy, which he carries everywhere, hugging it while he sleeps, using it for comfort when he feels nervous, and even taking it with him as he interacts with the other monkeys. In mid‑January, Punch was successfully introduced to a group of other macaques at the zoo, though he still stays close to his cuddly companion as he adjusts.

It seems miyakoshi didn’t encourage punch to eat from the bucket as he seems to feel punch should eat with other monkeys as if training him for natural macaque life. Punch don't eat cabbage 🥬 first, but In the second round corn 🌽 was offered, and Punch tried his best to grab it. Meanwhile Punch even balanced one leg on the bucket 🪣 and the other on Miyakoshi 😄 doing stunts to grabb the corn 🌽 from bucket , but finally he couldn’t win this round At the end punch won miyakoshi loos , both went inside . #punchimonkey #ichikawazoo

July 2 🐵🍌 Punch Kun was called by his name from inside the room to come eat food in the backyard. All the other monkeys got scared and ran out in panic. But only Punch went inside calmly when his name was called. This clearly shows Punch understands his name being called.

At last, Punch-kun and his daddies’ reunion has finally happened ❤️ I was always so confident this day would come. No matter how many days they were kept apart, the moment they’re together, their bond from birth takes over. Punch doesn’t see them as just caretakers, he sees them as his real parents. And Shikano’s extra love for him is so obvious. Yesterday he was even collecting apples for Punchi from the enclosure. It’s so beautiful to see them all happy and together again. 🥰

The story of Punch-kun, known as Punch, the baby monkey, who was rejected by his mother. Punch, is a seven-month-old baby macaque monkey who inhabits the Ichikawa Zoo in Japan. Born in July 2025, Punch had to swallow a harsh reality when his birth mother refused and abandoned him shortly after he was born. Seeing this condition, the animal keepers at Ichikawa City Zoo immediately acted as foster parents. However, human hands alone were not enough to help calm the baby primate. Zoo officials then gave Punch an orangutan plushie, which he began treating like a "surrogate mother" or an “adopted mother”, keeping it close while navigating life inside the enclosure. He’s just a baby. Look at that sweet little guy. He looks so lonely. Be strong. God bless you little Punch. ❤️

8/28 lunch time 🐵 Punch was already inside the enclosure waiting. First bucket was cabbage so he wasn’t interested at all, just hopped onto Papa Miyakoshi’s shoulder and took a little ride around. The second Daddy lifted the fruit bucket, Punchi dove straight in, ate right from it, then went inside with him. Priorities locked in. 🍎💛

🚨Trump finally addresses the “inappropriate” thing Epstein did for him to never speak with him again: It was that he stole people who worked for him. THAT was the dealbreaker? Not the rape, not the trafficking, not the kids. This man is depraved.

Punch was sitting quietly in one corner when Kibi came across him. 🥺 Then Punch was probably thinking, "Oh, you came at the right time! I was getting bored and wanted some nice grooming!" 😄💗 He climbed onto Kibi, and she looked so kind and patient with him unlike some of the other adult monkeys. 🥰 She even groomed Punch-kun for quite a while. Kibi seems to have a special, gentle way with Punch. She used to come over sometimes, groom him, and spend some time with him. 🐒💕 Punch kun also seems so comfortable and taking advantage of her kindness 😄😄 #punch #kibi #ichikawazoo

Today’s Punch-kun was seen receiving gentle hugs from the other monkeys. It’s heartwarming to see him comforted — hopefully that warmth gives him strength, and he can truly smile again soon.

A delivery guy was arrested by police for trafficking cocaine without knowing it. It was just another day at work. He received a call from a Nigerian lady at Dagoretti Corner. She wanted him to deliver food in a hotpot. The lady instructed him to take it to Kileleshwa estate in Nairobi. The guy did as instructed. When he arrived, he called the Nigerian man. While waiting, detectives suddenly appeared, opened the delivery bag, and to his shock, found cocaine wrapped in a small polythene pouch hidden inside the food. He was immediately arrested. As the officers were taking him away, he pleaded with them, insisting he was just an innocent delivery guy. He offered to help them catch the person who was supposed to receive the package. The police agreed. Some officers moved ahead while others stayed behind, watching him from a safe distance. He called the Nigerian man again. When the man came down from the apartment and was in the middle of paying him, he was arrested in a swift swoop. The delivery guy was released since he was innocent and had cooperated with the police.

After the incident, Punch went back to separate his plush toy from the others. It looked like he was trying to keep it safe, because he doesn't like when other monkeys touch it. Shikano even seemed a little upset about what had happened. But while Punch was heading upstairs with his plush toy, another monkey suddenly attacked him.

The Ice Has Broken: Baby Punch Appears to Have Been Accepted by the Troop Punch, the macaque who used to carry his plush “mom” everywhere, is no longer alone. He has bonded with another monkey, who has started caring for him and grooming him — a key sign of trust and acceptance among primates. He was also seen playing with other monkeys, who did not show aggression toward him. It seems this story has finally taken a happy turn.

Some people were wondering where Punch plush toy was. It is always there inside the cave. He brought the plush toy out again yesterday before feeding time because he was scared. Thankfully Shikano was aware he was inside the cave & Miyakoshi also knows now when Punch brings the toy out during feeding time, that means he's scared. And he directly brought Punch inside without trying to put him down ❤️. By the way, Punch was okay. No need to worry. 🎥: Connect Japan

This morning Akira came and sat right next to Punch-kun like it was the most normal thing. At first Punch thought Akira was chasing him and quickly ran to hide inside the room 😂 Once he realized Akira wasn’t after him, he came back out and sat on the gate… and Akira just calmly sat beside him for a few seconds. Akira is always so chill around Punch, but that quiet king aura is unmatched 👑

5/1 Punch was standing alone at the door, continuously peeking outside, waiting for his friends. 😞😭 It's heartbreaking to see Punch like that. But when Shikano arrived, Punch immediately clung to him and wouldn't eat anything. Maybe he was feeling cold after the rain had continued all day. When Shikano asked him to get down, Punch refused and hugged him even more tightly. In the end, Shikano carried him inside. ❤️ #punch #punchmonkey

“A Foreigner From Nepal Came To Me Claiming He Was Scammed Of ₦1.6 Billion. While The Amount Was Shocking, What Was Even More Shocking Was Where The Fraud Took Place. According To Him, He Believed The Business Was Legitimate Because The Meetings Were Held Inside a Conference Room At The Nigerian Police Force Headquarters. He Claimed That During One Of The Meetings, A Police CSP Assured Him That The Man They Were Paying Was a Legitimate Businessman And That It Was Safe To Do Business With Him. Seeing Police Officers In Uniform Inside The Force Headquarters, He Said He Had No Reason To Doubt Their Credibility, So He Went Ahead With The Transaction.” ~ VeryDarkMan
