July 4, 2012. Paris. On America’s Independence Day, Bruce Springsteen played Independence Day solo on piano. Not a song about flags or fireworks, but about leaving home, growing up, and the quiet distance between a father and a son.

On the left we have Hindus celebrating their festival and on the right Indians raising their flag and celebrating their independence Day both in London. No outrage from the far right moaning about a foreign culture or other flags.

Our Independence Day isn't about fireworks and barbecue. It's about the FIGHT FOR FREEDOM FROM TYRANNY. And that fight IS NEVER OVER. Here's JFK on July 4th, 1957 reading our entire Declaration of Independence. Happy 250th America 🇺🇸 May God give us the COURAGE TO BE FREE 🙏🏻

4th of July fireworks are going off and Indian lady proceeds to start doing an Indian song and dance skit to show off back home. America's 250th independence day celebrations and fireworks are NOT your TikTok dance backdrop. Enough with the main character energy. Respect America.

I would wish you all a happy Juneteenth. But I couldn't care less. We have but one Independence Day. And it's on July 4th.

In 1991, Nils Lofgren released Valentine, featuring Bruce Springsteen on backing vocals. Bruce also appeared in the video. A quiet E Street family moment, and a beautiful song.

Today is July 4th. Independence Day. Not just another long weekend with fireworks and burgers, but the anniversary of the single most consequential act of political courage in human history.

India and Pakistan celebrate Independence Day only 1 day apart, but the way they celebrate in Athens could not be more opposite. While Pakistanis attempted taqiyya and dominated a public square, India's Independence Day was celebrated on embassy grounds, with Greek vocalist Konstantinos Kalaitzis performing a special rendition of Vande Mataram.
