As Arabs, we need to understand that Israel and the West are not our oppressors or enemies. We, Arabs, are our own worst enemies. We, Arabs, are our greatest oppressors. We, Arabs, have killed and oppressed a million times more of our people than the West and Israel can ever do. It is not Israel that married off my mother when she was a child. It is my people who did. It is not the West or Israel that has been bombing Yemen for the past decade and killed 400,000. It is us, Arabs, who did it. It is not the Israel that implanted Islamic extremism in the East and the West. It is our mosques, it is the books we worship, it is the Imams we follow, it is what we learn and what we teach. It is not the West that forces us to treat women like commodities. It is our people. And most of all, it is not the West or Israel that doesn’t value Arab lives. It is us, Arabs, who do not value human life. If we do not admit to ourselves that WE are the problem, that WE are refusing to progress, and that WE need to change – then change will never happen, blood will keep flowing, and we will never know peace. How do we expect the world and the International Community to respect us, when we don’t respect ourselves?

We apparently have 1,000 Muslims on the streets in Germany loudly calling for Sharia. After Sharia! Not after respect, not after integration – no, they want to replace our legal system with a medieval religious law. Now such people come to us – as asylum seekers, as supposedly peaceful people seeking protection – and they turn the tables. They don't want to be part of our country. They want to make our country theirs. A country like in the Third World. With oppression, with fear, with arbitrariness. Who allows this? Please tell me: Is this the opinion of German citizens? No. But is anyone even asking for our opinion? We no longer feel safe. Not in our cities, not in our parks, not even in our own neighborhoods. This is no longer our homeland. It is becoming increasingly foreign. Anyone who does not respect our culture – out. Anyone who does not respect our laws – out. Anyone who wants Sharia here instead of our Basic Law – deport immediately. No discussion. No second chance. These people are dangerous. They don't want to enrich us. They want to destroy us. Period. Yes, that sounds harsh. But that is the reality. And if we look away now, we will lose our country. This is not an exaggeration. This is a bomb with a fuse. And it will explode. The only reason they are going back and forth with their protest is because we decided not to join them, they know what we are made of, guns and bullets have never stoped us at anytime, we are Biafrans, we are not Nigerians, we are not our ancestors, we will stop at nothing to get to our destination which is complete and total liberation. We do not want a better Nigeria, what we want is Biafra and we must get Biafra.
