MASSIVE Hermes Agent update over the last few days Totally changes the way I use Hermes Here's 6 new features you need to start using immediately (video demoing them below): 1. Mixture of agents: send your prompt to a team of different models. The team sends back all of their responses to an orchestrator model who synthesizes a final answer. Gives much better results than just sending a prompt to 1 model 2. /learn: use the new built in /learn skill to have Hermes automatically create new skills. You can either give a prompt after /learn or put in a URL. I like pasting in URLs of tweets with helpful tips after /learn and Hermes will automatically turn it into a skill 3. /journey: See every skill and memory Hermes has created for you on a really nice timeline/chart. Great for seeing how your agent has learned and improved over time 4. Self improvement cost savings: Hermes now uses cheaper models to do it's self improvement including memory creation and skill creation. These types of activities happen in the background of almost every prompt, so this results in TONS of cost savings over time 5. Vibe coding improvements: Hermes desktop is now a full vibe coding tool. You can see diffs, make commits, and even open up PRs directly from the desktop interface. Makes it WAYYY nicer to vibe code with 6. Fable 5 is now built in. Fable 5. Obviously Fable is incredibly expensive, so only use this new profile for incredibly complex tasks. Possibly the biggest change in Microsoft Teams history? Teams without the Teams? Public preview in November to desktop, mobile, iOS, and Android. Here is what you need to know: 🟣 Microsoft is introducing a new combined chat and channels experience. Meaning chat and teams/channels will show up under the "Chat" sidebar icon. No more dedicated Teams sidebar button. 🟣 Teams and Channels will have their own section in chat. 🟣 Group your chats and/or channels however best works for you with favourites and custom sections (up to 50 sections and 50 items per section) 🟣 “Unread,” “Chat,” “Channels,” “Meetings,” and “Muted” Filters 🟣 New message can initiate a new chat or new channel post 🟣 New Mention view gathers all your mentions into a single interactive list. 🟣 At launch, a self-service, guided onboarding will help users discover the new experience and configure it to their preferences (on or off) 🟣 Users who prefer to keep chat and channels separate can easily do so during the onboarding process or at any time later. So far, it looks like there are no IT/tenant-level override controls. This experience change is targeted at getting more users using teams/channels. Most Teams users live in "chats", not teams/channels. There will undoubtedly be some pushback from users who use teams/channels well and like having the mental separation of teams/channels vs chats. You can now use your computer when you are nowhere near it – by using an AI assistant on your phone. It's Claude's update called Dispatch and it uses Claude's Cowork feature to send emails and perform other tasks on your computer for you. But some tasks require access to your desktop and and personal accounts like email and messaging apps, sparking security concerns. Claude requests permission for every app before accessing it but it's not without risk. Anthropic said using Claude in Chrome, for example, can lead to unintended consequences like exposure of financial information. Claude's new features have sparked curiosity – and concern. So, CBS News’ Lauren Fichten tested it out, and spoke with a cybersecurity expert about the risks.
