I keep coming back to those helicopters circling the Twin Towers after the planes hit, they were there within minutes. They were right there. Close enough you could almost feel them. Crews ready, hoist ready, the same people who’d pulled 28 off the roof in ’93. They wanted to pick people up. They never did. Because there was nobody on the roof. Not one person.
