Great statue. Hung w/ Lemmy at the Irving Plaza bar NYC back in the day. My first Motörhead concert was a bar at age 16, prob 30 years prior. Kids could attend in the balcony. I remember it was like watching a supernova or something. Perhaps ruined me for bar show expectations for life. My dad threw out my t-shirt which read “I came , did you?” Perhaps I missed the double entendre. Rant that up there w/ my Cliff Burton signed white Damage Inc. shirt which he also tossed and could be on eBay now funding my kids’ education. Well, parents are always gonna hate their kids music I guess - I guess my dad hated Skulls and Innuendo. Long live Lemmy ! 🫡 #motorhead #lemmy #metallica #cliffBurton

I actually got Lemmy’s autograph when Motörhead played a club in Atlanta in 1987. He was playing the pinball machine and signing autographs between balls. Very gracious and friendly. I don’t think I realized at the time what rock royalty he really was.
