Oh it's just using UE's groom system. Created the fur in Cinema 4D as splines and exported that into Unreal

How did you get collisions with the sphere? I thought grooms only supported collisions with it's bonded skeletal mesh?

The sphere is actually a part of a skeletal mesh. It's hard bound to the tip of a bone 😊
