Refusal is not grounds for arrest in the US. Neither is speeding on its own.

Refusal of a field sobriety test is not probable cause to take him in. You need probable cause to give a field sobriety test. There was no probable cause. Cop doesn’t even know the laws his supposed to be upholding. And don’t give me some bullshit about speech patterns 🙄
