Generally agree with the sentiment and eloquently put… but don’t overlook the importance of a “good technique” when learning a new instrument (especially a violin). A “bad technique” can lead to physical pain. It should be comfortable and relaxed! 😊🎶

Certainly we should encourage people to innovate and experiment, but saying there is no objective better way for something is wrong and destructive

Wonderfully expressed Jacob. Music is a big circle and it all connects, either around or across. It is the most primal of all art forms and open to all. There are and there should be no boundaries. Loved your Glastonbury set by the way!

Sooomewhat right…but there totally *is* good vocal technique though, for quite a lot of people’s biology, because the alternative for some is stuff like nodule which can literally destroy your voice…
