The most important message any of us could receive is a reminder of who we are and how we are loved by our Eternal Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. Revelation from our loving Heavenly Father is a gift that allows us to feel these reminders often. May we all humble ourselves as we seek to hear Him communicate these special truths to us.

BROWDER: Putin is a total sociopath. You can't negotiate with sociopath. People look at him and say, "He looks kind of like us. He's a Christian, he's a European," you know, "We must be able to talk to him." There is no talking to him, there is no similarity between him and us. The sooner we dispose of that notion that he's like us, the easier it will be for us to come up with policies we need to contain him.

For our sisters and brothers preparing to celebrate Christmas tomorrow, and for those of us who still have a little longer to prepare, it is important to remember that the real spirit of gift-giving at Christmas stems from the true Gift of the Incarnation that we received from the One Who came to be like us, and calls us to be like Him. I got a lot on my mind… We need to have real conversation on the left about many many things including why we continued to give Graham Platner multiple passes and look the other way despite all kinds of allegations since October. This is not just about dropping out the race. Yes he should do that. AND, we need a bigger conversation. We need to also have convos about Tucker Carlson, Marjorie Taylor Green and the recent death of a young Black boy in Mississippi. It’s all connected. I’ll just simply say, white supremacy is not going to save us. Patriarchy is not going to save us. We need to have real talk about white supremacy and patriarchy, because it’s a disease that affects us consciously and subconsciously and it’s systemic across all Americas institutions. We need Medicare for all and all the things we are fighting for and we need to cure ourselves of patriarchy and white supremacy. Time for a process of truth, reconciliation, and collective healing!

Platner: I think that if we are going to have a politics that is going to be representative of regular people, if we are going to have a politics that's going to allow us to move past the polarization and frankly, the division that we find ourselves in, we really need to understand that people are capable of changing. We need to we need to keep hope alive, that people that we may disagree with today, that we can find common ground with. Like if you listen to what I've been saying on the campaign trail across the state, that's what I'm trying to talk about. It is important to me that we realize that most of us, most Americans, have far more in common than we think we do, and we need to give each other grace, and we need to give each other space to grow and to evolve. Because if we can't do that, then I'm not really sure what the purpose of any of this is.
