Just a reminder that my portfolio did absolutely nothing impressive - staying stuck below $50,000 - for a year and a half before climbing to mid 6-figures. Conviction and patience are your friends in this game.

😂🤣

nothin like a bull market eh

Amen

@Crowded_Mkt_Rpt He was mocking you, dude. Anyone can make money in a bull market.

@itschrisray not mocking. just saying

move to cash and wait 6-8 months youre welcome

Looks very similar to mine, but that drop from 575 to 400 is somehow more painful than the move from 40 to 575 is pleasant

Going from $425k to $285k was actually much worse haha

@CHRISG0RMAN I went from 365k in October to now 46k. I thought margin would be okay as long as I split all the money amongst three unrelated stocks. Unfortunately all three nose dived within 30 days. Why didn't I put in a stop loss one day sooner

@CHRISG0RMAN Margin is dangerous, I’ve never used it.

@CHRISG0RMAN How the fuck did you turn 10k to 500k then in like 1.5 years? Just catch the bull run perfectly?

@CHRISG0RMAN It was more like $50k to $500k in the last 1.5 years and I did that by essentially consolidating my entire portfolio into $RKLB right before it ran.

@EasyCapitalAI Did the same with $EOSE. Bought like crazy when it was sub $1 and it ran to $19. Fortunately took profits near the peak but still holding a good amount, hence the recent slump.

Portfolios look boring first. Flat. Slow. Nothing exciting. Then compounding arrives. Suddenly the curve turns vertical. Most people quit before the interesting part.

Yessir 👌

The flat line phase is where most people quit. A year and a half of nothing is brutal mentally — that's when doubt creeps in and hands get weak. Conviction without results is the hardest thing to hold onto. But that's exactly what separates the outcome.

To be fair, it was still growing. In hindsight it looks flat haha

@TheFIRESatoshis Funny I’m a kiwi and a ex co worker of mine started working at rocket lab a couple of years back and said to us invest, no one listened!

@TheFIRESatoshis Damn!! That’s wild, great story though haha

Hoping to achieve the same results with my conviction in $OPEN and $SRXH 💪🏼💪🏼 Congrats!

Thanks Jake!

I’m sorry Chris but a year and a half is not very long to wait to reach mid-6 figures. This gives off the impression that 6 figures is achievable with a bit of patience, and that patience is a couple of years. I find the argument that investing for 35 years into an index fund and having the patience for compound interest to really take effect, to be far more convincing.

I’d argue that’s just an entirely different game. You describe a hands off slow and steady approach. And that’s what most people should probably do. Steady buys into an index fund. I enjoy actively picking stocks and seeking out asymmetrical upside opportunities.

It is an entirely different game, that’s what I’m saying, it’s one that requires genuine patience (decades). Making 6 figures from a stock over 4 years from 10k is by comparison an incredibly quick return. I know what I’m saying is subjective, waiting 1.5 years would feel like a long time at the time. Respect to the gains you’ve made man. It’s impressive 🫡

My chart looks almost the same, onds was the big winner for me! 😁

Patience and conviction.. next benchmark.. 7 figures.

Fingers crossed! 🤞

How often were you trading in that year and a half? Or do you basically own the same stocks in that time? What was the main catalyst that took you from $50k to 6 figures?

I never saw myself as a trader, more of a mid and long term investor. I had too many positions when my account was small, like over 10 at some points. When I had a “winner” shoot up 10% in a day, I’d have like a $250 gain… it wasn’t enough. I basically consolidated nearly all my positions into $RKLB which I had the most belief in and felt was largely undervalued. Volatility increased, but my gains went hyperbolic after I did that. This obviously isn’t repeatable for every company in the market. You’ve gotta find an undervalued company with room to 5-10x, and gotta be able to hold through the ups and downs. NFA.

That’s pretty much my approach at the moment. I only own 4 stocks currently. But I have pretty strong conviction in all of them. Just waiting patiently. If I can even get a 5x out of $te or $onds I’d be well on my way. $iren $nbis $te $onds

Nice picks 👌

My feed has been oversaturated with accounts all in on ETFs the last 2 days. Seeing this is a breath of fresh air. Great work! Very inspiring.

Thank you sir!

That's compounding babyyy

Also concentration… went from 10+ stocks to 2-3 right as $RKLB was taking off. That did the trick 😅

@investingluc but a lot of risk.

@investingluc Definitely! Not for everyone.

What do you look for in companies that you believe are under valued?

Love seeing stuff like this, Chris. Makes me feel like it can happen for any of us if we just lock in. 🍻

Anyone can definitely do it, I’m not special. No leverage or fancy options trading, this is 99.9% just buying and holding shares.

@cryptobassin Pretty cool.

@cryptobassin 😎

This is super helpful to see Chris. You should be proud of this!

Thanks James!!

what are you doing posting a portfolio graph during a drawdown. that's not what we do here. aths only

The memes of doom only come out during the REALLY bad days, today’s fine.

Congratulations!

Thanks Jeremy!

Ahhhh. I remember these times as well. It just starts to pop over 100K.

💯

Same..must be a fellow gold and silver investor...

Haven’t actually ever owned them but would like to buy some in a retirement account soon…

oh ok, well they are dipping now, and could definitely explode over the next year or 2 or 10. I've already made 1000% on a couple, 200% on some others

Bro you’re just an idiot riding a bull market shows that at end of 2026. U already sliding back down nigga

Who fucking cares. Your a loser

Awesome work! Keep it up!

Thanks JC!

Every time one show portfolio, markets pull back. Chris stop it.😡

Can’t possibly keep happening… can it? 😏

The compounding starts heavy Around yr 3-5

Agreed

Respect 🫡

Thanks dude

Math is hard. 10k to 50k is not nothing

Definitely not. I was under $10k for like 2 years, then between $10k and $50k for another 1.5 which you see here, then much higher.

The real fun is about to start for you You become numb to seeing $10-$20k swings in your portfolio daily and you get gains in 1 year that exceed your former salary It’s wild

It’s so true, crazy stuff man

congrats, do you also hold $oss ?

Held it for a short time but rolled it into $ONDS

How much is your initial invest?

Day 1 back in 2021 wasn’t much at all, few hundred bucks maybe. I can’t even remember. I’ve put in like $90k of outside cash over the 5 years since then.

That’s gotta be a crazy feeling

Still doesn’t feel real tbh, I’m a very average dude and this is some serious money for me!

Solid lesson here 🙌 accumulate with conviction and be patient 📈

👍👍

Great job done, perfect holding time.

Thanks bro

How much did you invest ?

Mine looks similar, but we probably feel the same way. Jobs not done. Need to do the same multiple from 40k to 500k, but from 500k up to 6.25m, or else what is the point
