Just a thought about Inter’s season..

Completely agree, but thats the margins of football. 3 games away from a treble and football immortality, and what we now have tonight. It’s a historically awful night and a rotten way for their season to end but the entire team’s journey this year doesn’t deserve to be rewritten the way it’s been.

Agree completely. I also think they would’ve won the Serie A without the CL final on their mind, and the season would be a scudetto + CL Semi Final rather than the double failure it is. Going go be hard to shake the negativity any time soon.

They never deserved to qualify to the final in the first place they got lucky against bayern and barcelona and you can only ride your luck for so long before it runs out this was a demolition job they never stood a chance

The team is just too old. Even from the early games of this season I’ve not seen the same dynamism I saw from them last season. Italian football needs to change re: their academies because if you’re going to be broke but want to compete in Europe you need free young talent
