While no freshman has landed the headlines of Josh Barr for this season, there's a strong case that Max McEnelly has had the best year of any freshman. The Minnesota 184 pounder is 29-0 for his career. 17-0 this year with 88% bonus rate (just two decisions). He has dominated some incredible talents including Big Ten champion Silas Allred. Max has great defense, utilizing perfectly timed re-attacks. He can generate from his feet with a powerful double or a lightning-quick single leg. Max is in in a difficult weight class with 4x NCAA Champ Carter Starocci and undefeated NCAA Champ, Parker Keckeisen. Throw in someone as good as Dustin Plott and you have one of the most top-heavy weights we've seen in years. I can't wait to see Max test himself against the top of the weight class.

Some may call it an upset, but Chadron St simply calls it another day at the office, beating the #9/#11 Western CO Mountaineers on Saturday (11/8/25) in OT by a score of 27-24. Chadron got it done in all three phases of the game. The Eagles’ offense presented a balanced attack, gaining 111 yards and 2 TDs passing to go along with 148 yards and 1 TD rushing. The Eagles’ defense held the Mountaineers to a mere 38 yards rushing, had 7 tackles for loss, including 3 sacks, and came up with a fumble recovery and 2 interceptions. The most impressive part of Chadron’s team on Saturday had to be its special teams. The Eagles’ special teams blocked two field goal attempts and blocked a punt. Punter Brodie Eisenbraun stuck one punt inside the 5, drew a running into the punter penalty for a 1st down, and had an amazing run off of a high snap, which while it was not a 1st down, it shows what a stud he is. Then there is Kicker Wilson Yee. Yee made an impressive 50 yard FG in the 2nd quarter. Then, in OT, with ice in his veins, Yee made the biggest kick of his collegiate career, drilling a 47 yard FG to give the Eagles the win. Just finished The Boroughs. 9/10. The horror was great, but what stayed with me were the layers underneath it grief, loneliness, friendship, love, and the need to feel seen. That final scene with Sam definitely looks like a setup for Season 2, but here’s my unpopular opinion👇🏽 Not every great show needs another season. The Boroughs gave us a powerful story, memorable characters, and an ending that leaves you thinking long after the credits roll. Sometimes that’s enough. I would rather remember it as a masterpiece than watch it get stretched beyond what made it special. I recommend the movie 10/10. #TheBoroughs
