We've received lots of inquiries asking how exactly our new 4K restoration of HUMAN LANTERNS differs from the version you might have seen before. Well, it differs A LOT! 1. Every—and we do mean EVERY—previous home video release (including VHS) was heavily cut. And not by just a shot or two...No, the notorious skinning sequences were, well, mangled so much that we were genuinely shocked by just how much more gruesome the unedited version on our release is. 2. Maybe even more exciting: we discovered a long unavailable alternate/extended ending unique to the Cantonese version which significantly changes the outcome of the film while also adding EVEN MORE CARNAGE. Even if you've seen the film before, this alternate ending makes a major difference narratively and tonally. No other company has the exclusive footage present in our edition and the versions we are presenting will remain special to our release. We hope this clears things up! AI could be taking over Hollywood ‘Dreams of Violets,’ the first ever fully AI-Generated film to premiere at a Major Festival releases next week Instead of costing millions of dollar it cost just $2,000 to produce and only took 2 months for AI programs to generate all of the film's imagery No cast, no crew, and a fraction of the money and time it'd take with traditional moviemaking Amazon MGM Studios this week announced 3 new kids series written and voiced by humans but animated with AI tools One of them has pulled out though because of public backlash over using AI to create the show Apparently using AI is causing big pushbacks from unions too because it’s going to put so many people out of work I looked up how much this film would have taken to produce if it wasn’t AI and it would have been $2-$5 million dollars But with AI it was only $2,000….. Crazy
