Just another quick reminder that, despite its pacing issues near the end, Skyward Sword is an amazing game and one of the best Zelda worlds to date. I never tire of it.

The only Zelda game I haven’t finished.

It’s big commitment but I highly recommend starting a new game and finishing it. It’s really fantastic and probably the best story in the series.

I always though this game SUCKED! Might give it another try. Probably because I wasn’t that interested in the motion controls.

It’s got a couple of hurdles to get over. But if you do and you really engage with the game, story, and world the way it asks you to it’s actually an amazing game. And I 100% recommend the motion controls. Whether it’s Wii or Switch you NEED to play that way. Trust me!

I could not stand this one. Going back to the same areas 3 times to do the search mission and then the flood zone was so boring.

I am working on my first play through and am loving it.

My friend and I still do this day say "yyyyeeeeeEEEEESSSSSSSSS!!!!" Pretty much every day. That dude cracks us up.

Before the remake was announced I had hoped an Ocarina remake would use the Skyward art style. It shines on Switch. Really captures the high fantasy feel. Skyward delivered basically everything I felt was missing from my #1, Ocarina. After that game I was like "Wait, I don't get the Triforce? Are Link and Zelda supposed to be a couple? Shouldn't divine power be in the world? Why is it called Lake Hylia and not Lake Hyrule?" and Skyward was like "Here, Live your fantasy!"

This game has a lot of filler. It also has what I would argue is the best final boss fight in the series and an ending that brought me to tears.

I remember ppl criticizing the game about fetch quests near the end of whatever and I beat the game and wondered where was the quest they were talking about? So when I found out what they were referring to I laughed cuz it wasn’t that big of a deal if I didn’t even recognize it.

I got the HD remake for like $20 a year after it came out for switch. Beat it and it’s definitely one of the stronger stories, but the pacing and lack of unique boss fights after the 1st visit hurts the experience greatly just for me. I HATE THE IMPRISONED LMAO SO ANNOYING (8/10)

Beautiful game. The mandatory wii motion controls at release were a constant minor annoyance that deterred me from replaying it.

It's one of my favorite Zelda games, I played it for the first time last year and loved it

Skyward sword is a really good LoZ game. I rank it #4 personally.

This is simply a game that came out on the wrong console but actually is one of the best games to play from beginning to end.

There’s a lot of elements in this game that made their way into breath of the wild. The sky islands, breakable weapons…

I love Skyward Sword but they definitely could've made the Sky part of Skyward Sword more exciting. Skyloft is great, but once that makes up most of the sky content it's a bit disappointing. The worlds on the ground though are nice though and fleshed out nicely.

I want to like it because it seems like such a classic Zelda. The controls just kill every attempt I have made at it so far. Maybe I just need to give them more time to click on another attempt. I don’t know.🤷🏻‍♂️

I had a great time with the combat and dungeons. I didn't like some of the collectathons though, that hampered pacing, but yeah, great game overall. I agree! Thankfully the Switch version fixed some of the text/Fi issues. I loved the Motion Controls!

Absolute rubbish. It’s the one Zelda game that does not have the Zelda atmosphere
