Some idiot has painted a cross on one of the hedgehogs, presumably so they can identify it, for some reason. If you want to identify hedgehogs, do it the proper way: pay attention to their size, shape and albedo. It's not hard if you're not lazy. Painting them is a bad thing. Don't handle hedgehogs (or *any* other wild animals) unless you need to and don't paint a target on them to mark them out by sight or smell to predators. It's stressful for them, the paint might be toxic and it can make it hard for them to curl up when they sense a threat. Just don't fuck with wild animals at all, they are not toys. They are not here for our entertainment. We should be delighted when they visit, not mark them as property.

Why should we let these people into our countries? If we want to be generous, we could help find them somewhere else to live. But having them live here in Europe is clearly not good for either of us. The thing about the Kool Aid and Pineapple trend is that I have watched people complain about Blacks being criminals, a nuisance, useless, annoying. I have seen people claim they want to see Blacks gone and die off, disappear, Yet I remain confused when I witness the same people complain about Black people practicing capitalism, being peaceful, not being criminals, not even involve or try to gain the attention of the people that hate them and end up gaining media attention in the process, and even better for the people that hate them, pushing products that will lead to them dying off… So what is it, do you want them to practice a healthy meal schedule and do you want them to steal? It’s a strange narrative I’ve been watching.

"Explosion in Kharkiv" or something along those lines is the most frequent post I make. I've probably made a thousand of them by now, if not more. Air raid alerts are so frequent here that I usually don't even post about them. They can last for days, and the citizens of Kharkiv are forced to disregard them. Or we can have twelve of them in a day, and we will also be forced to disregard them. I often see online how central or western Ukraine complains about the alerts, and oh, how much I would give to have an actual solid warning about an attack like them. But "explosions in Kharkiv" always arrive unexpectedly. How surreal it is that we are forced to live like this. How horrific it is that thousands of bombs, missiles, and drones fall on a major city in Europe daily, and all the major press and political figures just pretend it doesn't happen. Because if they admit that it happens and they just watch it year after year, then what kind of people are they? Do they care at all?

These cats are all in horrible condition and the weather is not on their side. It can truly be life or death for them. I don’t want to see any of them freeze or starve to death. We have some major medical cases going on, plus these three cats who are all clearly struggling.
