Just because Boston Dynamics doesn’t make misleading claims and highly edited marketing videos to generate investor hype doesn’t mean they’re not many years ahead in both hardware and software. Great to see them using RL now.

Never bet on a science project company. You can root for them, love them, but never bet on them. They have excellent engineers, but have been around too long without big products in the market (1992). Sorry Spot and Stretch aren't "big" products.

💡 Hyper-personalization isn’t just a buzzword—it’s a revenue game-changer. But first? Invest in AI-ready data. 📊 Unlock insights, design products that actually fit market needs, and enter markets with precision. Because smart data = big wins. 🧠 💰 #AI #Data #EYMicrosoft

Really behind. Boston Dynamics needs to move to Hangzhou and compete directly with Unitree and Deep Robotics and tap their supply chain if it wants to survive. Is BD taking part in the first robot half marathon in Beijing?

They .. used to ... highly edit video clips lol

They are definitely not “many years ahead”...Maybe a few months ahead. These being said…I always liked their bots🙂

“Years ahead” is irrelevant terminology for this sector

Nice than Boston Dynamics is embracing AI now. Still waiting for a mass manufacturing announcement. That’s when you’ll know these companies are serious.

Whats there production capacity?

now? they've probably been using RL since the beginning

can they produce them at scale?

Maybe. I'm not sure how they're funded but I would imagine there could be some risk of current investors seeing the rapid improvement of other bots and then deciding to move their funding elsewhere.
