I'm quite shocked at how many trolls have come at us for not launching on game pass (tiktok is the worst) - but yeah. We're not launching on game pass. We believe our indie game is a fair price and will be worth the purchase. Thank you to everyone who has already pre-ordered. 💚

This isn't targeted at Xbox gamers, by the way. It's directed at the trolls who constantly criticize us and hate on the game for not being on Game Pass. We love Game Pass; it offers so many perks! But just because a game isn't on it doesn't mean it's not worth buying or trying.

Terms like 'dead game', 'dead on arrival', and 'if it’s not on Game Pass, we're not playing' pop up A LOT. Hearing this stuff every day really gets to me. Huge Gamepass supporter. Think it’s a great idea and very consumer friendly. However, every game doesn’t need to be on Gamepass. Been following you guys and this game for a while now. I will happily purchase this game. Thank you for all your hard work.

Let’s be real, the “I won’t play a game unless it’s on GamePass!” crowd are the reason why a particular console brand is going the way of Sega. Either support good developers or stay begging.

I’m buying it on Xbox for my son, and going to go ahead and buy it for myself on Steam (I should have done that already).

Probably the biggest mistake you'll ever make is launching a paid game on Xbox in this current climate. Wasn't the gamepass deal financially feasible?

So sorry, but you should have known better than backing xbox. Try to get the game on PS5 and Switch ASAP, Xbox isnt for hardcore gamers. None of us play on Xbox.
