Compare and contrast this with the dull, uninspiring, and utterly forgettable exchanges we observe today!

What a beautiful memory to reflect upon this, both parties are lacking such a great and senior leadership qualities now

I absolutely adored John Prescott. He was a treasure, extremely funny and could talk himself out of any scrape. John represented the Labour we all identified with and grew up with — that will hopefully return one day. Prezzer definitely will be missed 💔

My late father, a lifelong Tory voter said this about the infamous punch. "It's the one action I stand shoulder to shoulder with Prescott on - he was defending himself and that bloke deserved everything he got".

The Chirac line was a banger.

What a wonderful compilation. It speaks well of you to post it. A few good punches thrown from both sides. All in good humour. What has become of the House these days. That was the way to do it…RIP John.

Good natured banter and wit. Before both were replaced with legitimised hate speech and paranoid rhetoric, targeting the very worst facets of human nature. I have never trusted politicians but I could sometimes smile with them rather than constantly laugh at them… Now I can only mourn their shameful legacy and reprehensible culpability. No more smiles from me.

I miss those times. Everything seemed more grow up

Nice post Sir. The mutual respect is clear - exactly how it should be.

Brilliant. You two seemed to get on very well. It was all good humoured in that clip 👍 he was a character
