The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-Earth II is 20 years old - but still looks amazing! The cocept was pretty straight forward (and certainly not new): You build your base, research upgrades, lead an army, and try to destroy your enemy. Done a gazillion times... but if it ain't broke, don't fix it, right? For LOTR fans it was certainly worth it, and given the success of the movie trilogy, it made a lot of sense to profit from the hype. Definitely one of the better movie adaptions in gaming.
